What has he rebuilt? They were an afterthought before KD and Kyrie got there. A typical, decent roster with no pop or championship aspirations. KD brought them to the ECF in spite of the roster. This is the most excitement and publicity the team has had in years, and it’s because of everything off the court.

Marks went all in on a fat Harden, and then doubled down on that awful decision by trading him for Ben Simmons.

KD and Kyrie told Marks they were coming, and it wasn’t because of the culture. They both wanted to be in NYC. His only job was literally don’t mess it up and he’s done exactly that.

That’s what I’m saying, Marks made the Nets respectable to the point where a KD and Kyrie would want to sign there. A lot of other GM’s out there would of had the Nets wasting away in mediocrity for years, especially with no draft picks to work with.
