I hear you but you cant expect that from network TV. The amount of commercials alone doesn't allow you to go in that deep on the stories

Watched a chunk of this again....kind of shyt on second watch.

After getting over the "newness" of a show like this on network TV...not much else is interesting. And the script is trash. A lot of "this guys is a genius" or "hes so persuasive"....but unless they can SHOW us this in action it's just typically lazy tv trash.

I hope the show gets much better or much worse. As it is I'll probably stick with it as a guilty pleasure....but I'd be just as happy with it getting worse and me being able to stop watching :heh:

Streamed this last night..like a lot of you, haven't really watched network tv in years, maybe since the X Files...Anyway, this was garbage, from the opening two minutes, does the audience of the serial killer/obsessive law enforcment really need another grizzled, alcoholic, burn out to be pulled out of retirement to catch a killer? The one he singlehandedly tracked down? There were half a dozen cliches, BAD cliches, in the first 5 minutes. Run down apartment? Check. Bottles of alcohol in the trash? Check. Guzzling water/and or pain pills? Check. Phone call pulling him back into the field? Check. Fixing himself a flask for the road? Check.

And then, the cheap, shock value, gruesome violence? The questioning supervisors? Painfully bad writing....how many times did that assistant women agent ask incredulously, 'Why will they only talk to you'? And when he loses it, 'DO SOMETHING'....This is a bad show. The whole 'Following' aspect...ughhh, one review said something along the lines of, " are the people who obsess over serial killers and communicate with them online, really the type to be trusted with carefully planned kidnaps and murders'? Horrible show.

I had the guys wife pegged as being in "the cult" from the jump and when I saw the black dude had been assigned to guard her I knew he was as good as dead.
And they supposedly removed the first FBI chick with the mole because she let Kevin Bacon break Marc Antony's arm so I would expect the new broad to get fired considering how bad she has fukked up in such a short time.

I have not seen episode 3 yet, but the first 2 have been great to me.
I kind of wish it was on F/X at least so they could go that little bit further, but for network show it is pretty bad ass.

Am I the only one who finds that "Nanny" fukking cute as hell?
