Could this premise really go further than a season though? After awhile Incould see this turn into a clustfukk of fukkery. Those scenes previewing the season look wild though. The violence goes hard for Fox though aim impressed

I think so. Every episode doesn't have to revolve around the main killer and once his story arc ends they could just introduce a whole new case that only Bacon can solve. Also, it looks like fox is going to let them push it to the limit

Purefoy was acting he ass off in his scenes and I like how they aren't toning down the violence.
I also think this could last for a few seasons since they are only shooting 14 episodes per season. That means each season could deal with a few of Carroll's followers.

Decent show, it's just something about network television that just doesn't do it for me.

I'll admit that initially the show started of giving me the with what was going on.

The dude escaping from prison had to be explained like it was because I was ready to call bullshyt from the jump. The random woman stabbing herself was a pointless scene IMO. Just there to provide some cringe worthy violence. And thank god they killed off the gay neighbor shyt. I hate when these shows just throw in some fags just for the fukk of it. Hopefully they're done with that.

If it didn't wrap up those things for me, I might of thrown this shyt in the bushes before the 2nd episode started.

I think it has potential to be something in the same vein as Luther (maybe?) but we'll see.
