there's not really a big gap between the GOATs when looking at their entire body of work
This is a fact and it's so obviously true for most of them I don't know why cats lose their minds when this is suggested...
Before he died, he didn't make a lot of posters here top 10 but now its a sin to even get him out the top 5.
This is a fact, too...
Kobe is in my Top 10, but he's closer to 10 than 5. I don't really see a legitimate argument for him lower than 11 or 12 at the lowest, when you start lining him up with the next HOF greats that come after (Logo, the Malones, Chuck, Elgin, Admiral, Doc, etc). Those are like the #13-20 guys, more or less, and it's a tough ask to argue that any one of them were greater than Kobe on the whole...
Truth is there's a gap in greatness after the 12th guy or so...
What I will say is KD is currently in that #13-20 group with the potential to leap into the Top 10, all the guys at the bottom of the Top 10 are at risk of being jumped by Durant in the coming few years...
Back to Kobe, while I don't see an argument for him after 12 at the lowest, there are some damn strong arguments against him being Top 5; I honestly don't see how Kobe enters a Top 5 objectively speaking, and everybody knows that most heads don't consider Kobe Top 5, many don't have him Top 10, but you get major pushback from his large ass fanbase But he's Top 10 and Kenny tripping leaving him out especially for someone like Tiny Archibald lmao...
Anybody objectively could argue LeBron is the greatest player ever, to say he's just barely Top 10 is ridiculous. Kenny sound like a Coli nikka with that one...
