The funny thing is drake actually dissed kendrick in the interview while kendrick said he WANTS to be the best in the game.

Motherfukkers be all up in threads talking about who's got the best rhyme schemes, wordplay, punchlines that fly over peoples heads, double/triple entendres etc but can't fukkin understand what he's saying in a simple as verse like that. "omg kendrick said he wanted to murder these guys, I thought they were friends. Why would he want to destroy the careers of a fellow blackman? c00n!! "

:lupe:
Those werent double entendres and my analysis doesnt simply come from the phrase "murder these nikkaz"

It comes from the surrounding context of the lyrics

The talk of not helpin any of these nikkaz and that none of them will see 100 mil b4 him, and the talk about taking all these rappers fans and leaving their careers dead..the next logical step is to assume that he's sayin he wants to kill their careers

Secondly when Drake said he's waiting for a namedrop he had specific people in mind who he has actual tension with

Yes ur memory is a bit foggy cuz if u watch the interview again Drake says there are a couple of people who hes rdy for that he actually has real tension with

Kdot alrdy showed Drake Control wasnt real and Kdot doesnt really mean anything he said on Control so Drake said its not worth a battle

Drake also said he will not initiate..so basically if Drake is battling it better be real beef
Yes real beef

Not this wwe sht u soft ass new fck boi fans of this era keep askin for

And one of them (@blackslash ) is a jay stan ffs. These nikkas wana talk about lyrics, triple entendres and shyt but now wanna act like they don't know what kendricks verse meant.

I know we are all bias at times but can you's not even be a little bit objective for once?
As a kdot stan I'm not even denying that the track could've just been a gimmick and not 100% genuine but if that's the case drake would have the perfect angle to use against kendrick especially with the type of fanbase kendrick has. So the only logical reason I can think of for him not going at kdot is that he ain't confident in his own ability to take kendrick on lyrically.
If drake responded and Kendrick came back and destroyed him (which I think he's capable of and drake knows this but we'll ignore that since I'm a stan :yeshrug:) It would be the start of the end of his career.

All drake would have to do is give kendrick a decent response directly acknowledging control and not get murdered in their future back and forth and he would gain the respect of the naysayers and "hip hop heads" which I know he wants to have.
So you tell me now why he wouldn't want to respond?

Watch the second video from 4:19 :steviej:
Drake: "There's a couple other people I thought woulda called my name by now and never did," :smugbiden:

Angie martinez:: "oh is that what you're waiting for, the name call":steviej:

Drake: "I'm waiting for it Im ready for it" :lupe:

"Not waiting for it but I'm ready for it" :whew:

Angie Martinez: "Nice" :troll:

Drake: "I'm not the guy, but there's a reason why they don't call my name, I'm not the guy, I'm not the one.

:aicmon:

Guys feel free to correct me as my memories a bit foggy atm but I've heard there's a rapper by the name of kendrick that did indeed called drakes name :ld:
.
Did you actually understand the interview ? Drake meant that those people who he waited to call his name are people who knows don't fukk with him for real and it wouldn't be publicity stunts it'd be real hip hop. With kdot he saw him AFTER control came out and he was acting like it's all good making drake realize he was just name dropping to name drop and create buzz . Drake doesn't seem like he wants to get into a publicity battle . Every time on this site when rappers seem to try and make fake beefs you guys complain call them out and say they trying to create album sales yet because you a kdot fan you'll give him a pass !! Now it's the essence of hiphop when just months ago everyone saying ohh 50 done because no one wants to hear this fake gimmick beefing :snoop: Drake responded to common I'm sure he could hang with kdot who's a good rapper but as far I can see hasn't had the rap battle pedigree

The problem is your a Stan . Why didn't kdot make records about the people who actually made records back to him ? Oh because he trying to bait bigger names into responding ?

Hes succeeding in the "league" you could say drakes on top of the rap game really , his sales are on par with only the big dogs and only Wayne and em outselling him . I thought a bunch of people just complained how people taking kdots verse literally while at the same you taking a random rap verse seriously ... Didn't we see drake get common ? Now he's scared of kdot ?

It's your opinion that kdot is a rapper worthy of a response from drake . Maybe drake doesn't see it that way not to mention drake seems like he only wants to go back and forth with people who he has real problems with . He already established that Kendrick doesn't so he's not interested in responding to attempts create buzz

Angie got a way of subtlety cutting through rich nikka bullshyt and finding the hurt feelings, man. Drake was sounding like Jay back when Ether dropped, and Kendrick didn't even diss him. Angie was like :smugfavre:

Kendrick has to respond. Not in a beef manner, but to make it clear the song wasn't about dissing the people he named. If he named you...you're aite, just remember he's coming for you. That's what it's about: competition. Drake sounds like he wants dudes to recognize his place above them, and only call him when they need a feature. Nah breh.

you can really tell Drake has never had a true altercation with a man in his life, outside of family members. So anytime someone says something out the norm he thinks it's disrespect and gets defensive lmao. Listen to NWTS, half the album is about people who didn't give him the respect he thought he deserved in highschool or whatever. This nikka soft as potato salad....

Ummm, Isn't GKMC pretty much about the same thing? :pachaha:

Most rappers are lames dudes retelling the stories of those around them, at least the dudes that you all/most people like.

Yeah why is drake seem so salty all this time later? :what:

I swear that control verse is still eating at these rappers for some reason and it's interesting as fukk to witness as a fan :blessed:

Drake's the Tissue Box Don. People asking him about the song when he's trying to promote his latest "Simp 101" cd is gonna upset him.

Off topic, but these two have volumes of :wrist:-level pictures. Given how both are bandwagon jumpers, I'm amazed there aren't more pics of them together.
