So when Kendrick said every album is going to be different, I don't think he will go jazz fusion on the next one, I'm thinking Kendrick is going to go new wave on the next one. :takedat:

Kendrick going to be rocking a lopsided fade like Will I am in some skin tight sleek suit like devo playing a synth on SNL standing still. Song lyrics be "I am the Kunta Leprechaun":russ:

Now bring on Run the Jewels 3 and let's have Kdot collab. :ohhh:

The third verse on Momma is soo dope as he's convo'ing with the little kid or it could be himself before the fame. How Much A Dollar costs, was just a great concept done and very relatable. I think we all felt the same way when we've seen a homeless person asking for money at one time or another.

The beat on this song is just so smooth. One thing I really like about Kendrick is how much detail he uses in his storytelling.

I agree, storytelling isn't about being super lyrical. You just gotta be able to make the listener feel you...

And the way he repeats "He staring at me" just gave you that uncomfortable feeling we have all felt when you a see bum before they come and ask you for something.

And I feel it because even though I've given bums money quite a few times, there are just as many times that I didn't give them anything even though I had it..

The saxophone and the drums are just perfect on there too...... It's just a great conceptual rap song

Man, can we just talk about the little moments we like with this record?

On Institutionalized, I anticipate those 4 flute notes during Grandma's talk:

around 3:38 :blessed:

Little things like that really do just stand out to me brehs.

And on "these walls" at the beginning of the track the bugle horn sound turns into the woman moaning :banderas:

Top 5

1. How much a dollar cost
2. Blacker the berry
3. Mortal Man
4. Momma
5. Wesley's Theory

Leaving you ain't gotta lie and U off that list hurt brehs :mjcry:

Thought about putting complexion but it would mainly be for the second half with Rapsody, so I went for songs that I like more as a whole.
