meh. albums like gkmc and mbdtf have the universal acclaim, and objectively speaking, I can't think of a single bad song on these albums. Would even say that these albums are better than A LOT OF classics from the 90s. It's not manufactured, its just that it's impossible to give a bad score to these albums, specially if you're a professional critic because you have to put your bias aside. (personal tastes and all that stuff)

i'd even go as far as to say that gkmc and mbdf are both better than a lot of my favorite albums... yeah, I can make the differenc ebetween "what I htink is good" and "what I enjoy listnening to"

nah. A lot of people can put their bias aside and judge music from a pure objective standpoint.

because you don't like something doesn't mean its better than what you personally enjoy from a pure objective standpoint.

People saying "hype is forced" are nikkas who have no argument, they're using that word because they don't agree with the consensus or the majority of people who agree that its undenaibly great. These people can't put their bias aside and act like their opinion matter because music is 100% subjective to them

damn just checked RYM. and gkmc is like the highest rated album of the past 5 years in any musical genre (with thousand of ratings)

I don't think he can top gkmc, imo an album like gkmc only happens once or twice every 4-5 years. But I do think that its going to be very close, solid +9/10

He can do it tbh but even if its not as good, it can still be classic. if the albums sells and if it has similar reviews then it will be another standard for this decade

Exactly. I love music period and it doesn't matter from who. I copped Wu-Tang and Spice 1. I listened to 2pac, Biggie, Nas, Snoop, Mc Breed, Dayton Family, No limit, Cash Money, Trick Daddy on to 69 Boyz & more and never thought about placing parameters on them. Just because I like 112 didn't mean Jagged Edge sucked and I didn't like their music also. That's all I'm saying and that's part of the issue now. People have expectations for artists and the only thing that matters is if you like the music...bc you like it & not to fit in or be cool with others.
