You can't even explain the fukking line, because it makes no sense, there is no explainations

it's just "what about black on black crime"

if your so smart tell me what he was trying to say, even though he clearly stated what he meant

He stated that he wept for Trayvon as a senseless loss of black life. He didn't know him personally, he wasn't family, but because he was a young black man who lost his life possibly because of the darkness of his skin, it made Kendrick emotional to cry.

With that though comes the reflection Kendrick has of his own hypocrisy. He's caused the senseless loss of black life through his own involvement in gang affiliation. And when he did so he didn't care about the persons skin color even though they were darker than him. So what gives him the gall to cry over black life when he's committed the same sin?

THAT is the hypocrisy he's speaking of. You can't as a black man celebrate and mourn black life when you've spent time executing black men on your own for no reason.

Questions?

lmao who did Kendrick kill, how is it even the same sin

gang bangers choose to live a lifestyle where they could get killed
so it's different, if Trayvon was gang banging and got killed the same wayy, nobody would be mad because he chose that life

gang bangers regret their lifestyle all the time when they grow up
grown men don't fukking gang bang

also why would gang bang have remorse for killing an enemy, when Trayvon wasn't a threat to anyone and was a school boy, they could feel bad because he wasn't living the life and still got killed

also the people outraged and the protesting about Trayvon never killed anyone
what he's doing is not irresponsible at best with these lyrics, because they don't match reality

yo why do you keep acting like Kendrick is saying Trayvon was a gangbanger or that EVERYONE who was pissed at his death was one? He didn't fukking say that. The whole point was the He (either IRL or as that verse's POV) killed a nikka like it was nothing but is now mourning Trayvon's death, when he (either IRL or as the POV) killed a nikka. That makes him a hypocrite breh. That is all the line was about. nikkas out here doin fukkboy shyt are hypocrites if they start getting upity about others doing the same fukkboy shyt. I don't see the problem is pointing that out. It isn't exactly a novel concept. That line does not come at the necks of everyone who is mad at the killings but rather those who are mad and yet turn around do the same foul shyt or worse. If that isn't you then wtf are you mad for?

I'm sitting here confused as fukk right now because I don't get how you got "Oh Kendrick is calling out all blacks" from that line. Yall nikkas are just super quick to ride the Call someone a c00n train yo.

Maybe he's saying people should be sad about any black kid getting murdered regardless of who did the killing? How I took it when the first time I heard it , but I'm not out there looking for shyt to be outraged about.

Although I'm not dude's biggest fan im sure he's intelligent enough to know the true cause of gang violence/"black on black" crime.

Why does the first question matter and why are you asking the second question when I already laid the answer out for you?

gang bangers choose to live a lifestyle where they could get killed
so it's different, if Trayvon was gang banging and got killed the same wayy, nobody would be mad because he chose that life
And here is where you show your inability to comprehend analogies. Life is life. Maybe Trayvon didn't need to die the same way nikkas who gang bang don't need to systematically kill each other off.

And I'm trying to figure out why you feel the need to continuously bring up a perspective about "how people feel" when the discussion and explanation originates in how Kendrick feels. It makes no sense, and it's clear that his line makes no sense to you because you're reaching for topics to explain that weren't meant to be there.

gang bangers regret their lifestyle all the time when they grow up
grown men don't fukking gang bang
Are you the gang member spokesperson? There some sort of gang union I don't know about? Let's keep the rhetoric out of the discussion. It doesn't help your case.

also why would gang bang have remorse for killing an enemy, when Trayvon wasn't a threat to anyone and was a school boy, they could feel bad because he wasn't living the life and still got killed

That's hypocrisy. You can't be sad about random loss of life when you engage in life loss on a regular basis. It doesn't matter if a person is engaged in your lifestyle or not.

also the people outraged and the protesting about Trayvon never killed anyone
what he's doing is not irresponsible at best with these lyrics, because they don't match reality
Who outside of you is bringing up "the people outraged and protesting?"

If anyone is irresponsible, it's actually you

This makes 0 sense.

Basically any one's who's ever been to war can't feel bad for any killing ever. :laff: Please share this message with all the veterans and people who kill others in self-defense, etc. They are no longer allowed to grieve the death of any murdered people because they have killed these are the rules.

:mjlol:

Right. That was a nice emotional reach tho.

That line does not come at the necks of everyone who is mad at the killings but rather those who are mad and yet turn around do the same foul shyt or worse. If that isn't you then wtf are you mad for?.

I don't think you all realize the way you read that line and the way everyone else sees it is completely different for the most part.

For most part, y'all and few are the only people I see who are saying this isn't the EXACT same thing he said in Rolling Stone some time ago (a lot of people I have seen are even calling out the hypocrisy on everyone's changing opinion because of a rap song, even white kids have noticed you blacks who are switching it up because a rapper said so).

If everyone is saying the shirt you have on is red and you are saying your shirt is blue, is your shirt really blue or are you just blind as fukk? He said a great and catchy line, but unless the confusion is what he wanted, it's phrased weirdly. A lot me think he wants the confusion tho so..

He seem to be on that Lupe track heavy.

:dahell:

I have my own feelings about that... But either way I didn't say that. I said senseless loss of life when you cause senseless loss of life. Do you think going to war is senseless? Doesn't sound like it, and if you do think so, then why wouldn't you see the hypocrisy in a war vet shedding tears over random people getting killed similarly to people he/she shot down?
