honestly I don't think Kendrick is directly linking black on black crime/gang violence as a cause of why a Trayvon situation happens but just pointing out the irony in a gangbangers mentality

But my question is, are gangbangers the ones out here voicing their displeasure with innocent blacks like Trayvon getting killed?

Show me the gangbangers who are on tv and social media upset over Trayvon's death. Maybe I don't know any, but up to this point all I've seen are regular law abiding black folk voicing their discontent with the system and unjust killings.. If this is true then Kendrick's line has little to no merit.

Like the reggae hook. This is an improvement on some of his past work. The 1st verse is the weakest to me, parts of that I don't like, the other verses I like and are good. I can acknowledge this as an improvement though which is commendable, and it's made me interested to at least peep the album to see what I think as "I" wasn't doing it for me.
