He was asked a questionThis is not news. The media's been trying to do this since always. Nothing new, but he should keep his feelings on the hush I'd hate to see such promising talent be brought to instant demise.

White supremacists and racists run the Media got damnwhite supremacists are trying to start a race war
Another dumb ass nikka thay doesn't know what a c00n isThis is a very c00nish statement by Kendrick and I like some of his music. The media isn't trying to start a race war, this has been what has always happened to black people in this country. Police Brutality, Police killings, white supremacy, white terrorism. All of this has ALWAYS happened in this country and just because the media is reporting more of it now doesn't mean that they are trying to start a race war. That comment by Kendrick is like the ultimate head in the sand, out of touch type of statement that there can be. He doesn't want to hear these racial injustices that happen to black people so he wants the media to stop reporting it. I am honestly disgusted by Kendrick right now. He can go fukk himself. I don't know how anyone can think this guy is problack or a revolutionary. He's just another rapper who's trying to get money and stay relevant.
The media had its own agenda. But don't get it twisted, systemic White supremacy exist. I think the problem lies in folks using the media agenda of "Sparking a Race War" as an excuse to deny any sort of REAL problems related to White supremacy. They could just say "Look, the media lied to us about Mike Brown, Eric Garner, and Charleston. Those were all hoaxes, clearly White supremacy doesn't exist"
The source is the same thing you dumb ass nikka.Basically this. What Kendrick is saying basically, is that he wants to stop the messenger instead of the source of the message.
14 pages of fake ass outrage off a misleading title that nikkas prolly didn't watch the fukking videoHeadline is misleading, it was Q that said that not Kendrick. However, it's not the media that's trying to start a race war; well if you don't consider info wars media.
They're just trying to profit off of it.
The difference is those were heinous acts off of hatred. What Kendrick was talking about go beyond that.I turned my cable off about 4 years ago, but the people that says the media are trying to "start a race war" are just a bunch of scared negroes. The media has ALWAYS had negative depictions of black people, going back centuries. It's why Dylan Roof said "you're trying to rape our women" because that's an old racist belief held by whites
This shyt has always been going on. The only difference is you got scared negroes trying to tell black people not to pay attention to it as we're getting slaughtered.
I don't get the outrage over what Kendrick said. He spoke from the point of view of religious man. They're right.
It's media sensationalism. If there were 3 race-related killings that happen in a day, the national media is going to pick ONE (whichever one has the most marketable story) and go ham on it.
And that one dude is right, you can't watch the Charleston shooting and not feel a tad bit differently. It's that same thing that Dylan Roof said about the Trayvon Martin thing that set him on that path.
The media sensationalizes things for reactions, bc they ultimately get to cover the disaster in the end.

I'm an admitted stan, but the opinion I'm about to express I've been mulling over for a while.
I detest the "c00n" rhetoric that infests the Coli's most pro black sections. I disagree with Kendrick that the media's influence on a potential "race war" is even worthy of disscussion. I'd rather talk about where we are going to get our weapons and how do we plan on attacking/defending then discuss whatever agent may have brought us to that point. And the media is definitely lower on the totem pool than the actual offenses commited against blacks in america daily.
However, just because we disagree doesn't make me a better black man than him. It doesn't make my opinion more valuable than his just becauss he thinks the media is to blame and I don't, hell, it doesn't even make us enemies.
Kendrick having a different perspective on the same issue doesn't make him a c00n. He isn't actively doing any damage to the black community, if anything, the music he puts out is atleast uniting a select few black people and promoting awareness, which is honestly more than you could ask for from any mainstream rapper not named J. Cole. Kendrick is far from the same level as a Raven Symone or Azealia Banks and it's frustrating that one of the few groups of aware black people around are so willing to throw a potential ally in the same pit so quickly and over something as minor as a different perapective/opinion.
Listen I'm not the type of person that throws the word c00n around. You can look up my post history. But when you have a public black figure who talks on black issues and says that what is happening isn't bad but the reporting is, then that is as close to being a c00n that I can describe. He cares more about negative peace with the absence of tension then actually airing out the injustice that happens to black people. I don't want to go on a whole diatribe of what is wrong with Kendrick's statement but as I said it's like one of the most uncaring statements I have ever heard about the plight of black people in America.
