Kendrick Lamar - Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers (Discussion Thread)

Mr. Morale could be Kendrick’s album. While Big Steppers is also Kendrick’s album, but Kendrick is giving pg Lang, and the next generation of artist more shine. Big Steppers might be like what Jay did with Blueprint 3, or what Biggie did with the Junior Mafia album.

Could be like P.Diddy and the Fam album, or the usual DJ Khaled album as well. Basically I’m expecting Big Steppers to be a heavily featured project.

This is an interesting theory. Mr Morale is a proper Kendrick solo and Big Steppers is more of a Presents pgLang type of project...

He's been getting more into production and artist development too so I'm rocking with this theory until it's disproved

From the 98 to 04? I can’t think of anyone outrapping Em. There are some versus I prefer over his like 50s on warrior Pt 2 but no one really got him.

Gunplay got kendrick twice, Jay Rock, Krit on 1 train, Jay electronica on control (non bias opinion) drake on poetic justice, and drake on fukking problems.

I tried comparing Kendrick’s first 3 major to Eminem since em is a legacy act now.

Kendrick will lap Eminem in the long haul. Em fell off tremendously
