There is nothing Black Political Science about TPAB, I might give u TBTB but that’s it. That’s a reach. The album is more personal and introspective. But when it comes to Dot heads tend to exaggerate.

In can’t even do that because “So why did I weep when Trayvon Martin was in the street?
When gang banging make me kill a nikka blacker than me?
Hypocrite!”

that line red there smh that line right there

:ehh:I'm one of those people that feels like GKMC can't be topped funny enough.

I heard like two tracks off Section 80, one was HiiPower so I was like West Coast Dead Prez :yeshrug:

but then the homie put on that Maad City one night while we was in the whip :banderas:had to go back and give it a listen my damn self.

I think it might be a nostalgia thing for me if anything.

But I will say this

^Other than maybe Mick Jenkins, can't another rapper I think of who put out a track like this, that left my ass speechless after I finished it.

It's really difficult to say Kendrick is overhyped.

GKMC is the last album everyone from the streets to the critics to even the whites knew it was an instant classic. It's like a timeliness diverged after that because everyone's been divided on every album after. Rap community treated it like a tragedy when he didn't win the Grammy for it.

I can say that he dropped the last universally accepted classic.

TPAB won a fukking pulitzer.

The only way Kendrick is overhyped is if you have him as the greatest hip hop artist by a country mile. And even then it's pretty easy to see why he has a top 5 case when he retires

OD Great project. Not a classic but if someone argued it was. I`d 100% understand it. I heard OD right before GKMC released.

S.80 (The first project I heard of Kendrick in 2011) is a classic and probably my second favorite project after DAMN (it`s very close).

GKMC is a classic (I put it just behind S.80, this is also very close to overtaking it. Sometimes I do put it over S.80)

TPAB I thought was mid at first. It grew on me though. It`s good, but it`s not a classic (to me). The message of it is his best though. It`s not an album I'll bump frequently. Every once in a while, I'll play it. I got to be in the mood for it to want to hear it. Put it this way. I`ll put DAMN on at a cookout, or a get together. I wouldn`t do that with TPAB. Sometime I just want the catchy melodies, bars that`ll make me want to play a song multiple times, and something to dance to.

UU I lowkey rather listen to than TPAB. I know it`s just an EP, but it`s damn near perfect.

DAMN. is a classic imo. Probably my favorite, and most played Kendrick album (just played it yesterday). I feel like it`s an underrated album in a way because Kendrick`s fans always say it`s good, but it`s his worst project. For me this album deviated from him doing a concept album a bit, and he just gave us great\quality music. Brehs, when I first heard DNA. I spun it back so many times. I didn`t get to YAH until damn near what would have been half the albums duration :wow:

Black Panther Soundtrack was heat to.

I wonder if Kendrick will finally reach level 10 on this LP? What`ll happen when he reaches that level? :lupe:
