I get the comparison in a sense but Yeezus was more up tempo and the production really knocks. Many people on the Coli never fukked with that album but you can't deny it sounds "big" which is why that tour worked so well. It fit those huge venues and shows and sounds dramatic as fukk.

I'm very curious how this Kendrick album works live. To me it doesn't have that Yeezus sound. To me it sounds more like Pablo, for good and bad. Including with the almost troll like hooks/lyrics that you can imagine a packed arena screaming (bytch you ugly as fukk; bytch I'm attractive; Silent Hill hook; hello, crackers etc).

If I had to guess...

N95
Die Hard
Father Time
Rich Spirit
Count Me Out (with a live chorus?)
Silent Hill
Mr. Morale
Mirror

With various interludes from other tracks. The intro of We Cry Together (the Florence & The Machine sample), Worldwide Steppers beat, piano from United In Grief etc.

Keem’s going to be on tour with him so i’d throw in Savior Interlude and Savior in the mix as well. Wouldn’t be surprised if he performs Heart Part 5 either since its been officially added to the album and was a hit single

These fools reissued the album on Spotify with that song added to it. The one I've been listing to doesn't have that song on it so I never noticed.

Kendrick Lamar drops 80% and ya'll throw all kinds of shots and say he flopped. Same people were praising Harry Styles last week for doing 500K and now he has a 70% drop to 154K and nowhere near the same energy.

This album is great but if you listen to trash rap you won’t get it. When I read that you don’t like it I know I’m dealing with someone with bad taste.
I agree the album is great but saying anyone who doesn’t like it has bad taste is false. People want different things out of music. Artists like Robert Glasper, Kamasi, Flying Lotus, Christian Scott Atunde aren’t putting out music that people wanna put on in most situations despite being arguably the most talented of our time. Even Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock have a lot of stuff that’s extremely tough to listen to…
People can just wanna put something on that sounds great on the car system, at the gym, hanging with friends and it doesn’t mean they have bad taste.

9/10 times if I'm listening to rap I'm working out. This is NOT gym music.

If I'm playing music at the crib it's something laid back. This isn't that kind of music.

If I'm going to play an album I like to play it all the way through and I can not do that with this album. There's just too much going on with the production and vibes. I never finished listening to it fully and most likely never will. Not calling it trash It's just not for me. Anyone acting like something is wrong with people for not liking music that they like is being ridiculous.
