Joke? name me one hiphop album better than Kendrick’s this year? I love Vince’s album, and in some ways I might prefer it. But as an entire project I give the edge to Kendrick

Kendrick might be overrated but he still thee Rapper creating the best albums which makes him the best by default


If you think the album is trash or subpar you need to get your ears cleaned up, because you are clearly missing the point

The album was supposed to come out in 2020, but COVID delayed it.

Seems like an early version of Family Ties in the video, along with video of Kendrick talking to the therapist from the album.

Was the album finished by that point? I want to assume Kendrick had most of these songs done, but then there are songs like "N95" which wouldn't exist before the pandemic. He had to have went back and reworked half of these songs.

That said, very good double disk album. Not gonna call it album of the year (Elzhi, Denzel Curry shyt is better IMO) but its a great release.

Yeah, there was clearly some stuff like N95 and the Drake/Ye reference that shows that some work was done recently.

I'm guessing there was probably another version, but the pgLang video that even references Big Steppers and has the therapist on there shows that they thought it was good to go.

I think that one thing that has helped me grow from last year to now is the little mini tour. I did the mini tour before all this going on, seeing how many people actually care about the music. It was tight seeing that and taking that home. I’m just grateful I got to experience that, because without that I don’t know where I would be right now. You were supposed to be out, I was supposed to be out. I’ve had a year to sit down and just think about the next experience. I feel my thing now is to detach myself from the wrong things and attach myself to the right things, things that I should feel. Like sometimes I’ll detach myself from a lot of things that just upset me because I feel like I don’t need to deal with it.

N95 was planned for the rollout as footage from the video leaked around that time
