We cry together is a good track but not a masterpiece a bit all over the place, and the amount of times the girl says nikka, smh definitely not white audience friendly.

I feel like Kendrick has slightly become overrated over the years he’s the critics darling and in doing so has delved more to incorporating more musical aspects into rap but like shown with Kanye before him that doesn’t always translate to better sounding music, GKMC is still his best project and Section 80 not too far behind.

The pandering also makes me feel uneasy when this guy is heralded as some type of conscious mc, this is the safe liberal conscious mc, which is symbolic of black politics and freedom fighters in our new generation for that Kendrick is very much he archetype, we want from fight the power to this, black power to Black Lives Matter, PAC with real black panther links to a rapper from the west who is just as likely to perform for democratic presidents, it all feels a bit fake to me.

Also has Baby Keem got a verse harder than the Savior interlude? I have to assume Kendrick wrote that verse for him because I can't locate one.

I'm never sure if Kendrick was influenced by Keem or he just writes for him, cause he started using Keem-like Cadences and flows around DAMN times,
keem influenced him. that you outta pocket you outta pocket shyt on n95 is straight up keem.

Bingo! This is a bunch of hocus pocus, artsy fartsy spectacle.I give him some props for conjuring up magic with this slight of hand, tho.The boy's a wiz at knowing how to tap into a market.

my favorites.
N95, Worldwide steppers Father Time Purple Hearts Count Me Out Silent Hill Savior Mr. Morale Mother I Sober Mirror

I think the album is pretty good, I really like the composition in a lot of these especially Count me out or Mr. Morale. My biggest gripe with the album is the production in the first couple of songs isn't the strongest like the opening track. We Cry together is a good track but the sheer fact that it's two people screaming makes it a hard re-listen.

XXX was kinda dope and had shyt to say. Keem has songs I like but is kinda just...there. Sometimes hits you with some dope lines but out of all the young dudes he got the worse handle on the waves.
