If you hear the end of the skit on Sherane his dad says something like "Turn my muthafukkin oldies back my on ya kill my muthafukkin vibe"

I see Don't Kill My Vibe like that's the oldie the dad plays when he's listening to his music at the pad. He's trying to get Kendricks mom heated .

..I lightweight thought that too..but I lightweight imagined it as a flashback...

Like it's just K. Dot chilling in his room and there is a caption that pops up on the screen and says "A few hours before.." since it comes on right after Sherene..I can just imagine him just waking up getting ready for the day....and when he steps out the house, thats when his boys pick him and it goes right into Backseat Freestyle...but that's just me
