Good summary LucaBrasi but Ab soul didnt play K Dots father. Pretty sure Kendrick said those were his real parents on the skits

Bro I know :sadcam:

Thing is when I got this breakdown I didnt know who did the voices yet and I had heard rumors about it being ab-soul you feel me?

It's all gravy tho :pachaha:

Still a sick ass story:wow:

Actually been thinking about shooting a video for Art of Peer Pressure based on what happens in the story telling:ahh:

I was just listening to the song this morning on my way to school and got these pictures in my head how I would make everything fit together without making it look corny or forced:jawalrus:

And to that poster who said Bxtch dont kill my vibe is current day kendrick I don't believe that, it no sense to the story having that jump to mordern day kendrick being that Real represents when he becomes Kendrick Lamar as we know him, just my two cents :manny:

My 2 cents on "bytch Dan't Kill My Vibe"

If you hear the end of the skit on Sherane his dad says something like "Turn my muthafukkin oldies back my on ya kill my muthafukkin vibe"

I see Don't Kill My Vibe like that's the oldie the dad plays when he's listening to his music at the pad. He's trying to get Kendricks mom heated :troll:.

I can feel the changes
I can feel the new people around me just want to be famous
You can see that my city found me put me on stages
To me that’s amazing
To you that’s a quick check, with all disrespect let me say this

Just because it don't fit the narritive, don't mean you just force it to fit there for your personal convenience.

He also refers to himself as "Kendrick" in the song.

Ok, i have listened to this 3-4 times now and even take back my minor criticism (voice on m.A.A.d city).

This is the album that I have been waiting from hip hop for years. Just a complete story. He elevated the hip hop staple of storytelling track up to storytelling album. It's cohesive, the skits purposeful. It feels truthful without being preach or corny or boring. Really just a great piece of music.
