Pharell is that you :whoo:

Is it possible the Neptunes have the best beat on here...:whoa:

I already want to listen to it again. I didn't even get to listen to RZA's soundtrack, yet :noah:

GKMC already has the Life Is Good aura, and it knocked Food & Liquor 2, Russian Roulette, and Dream Deferred out their spots.

This album is only second to Nasir. Everything else that came out is a waste of beats and hearing. Seriously. Kendrick albums are well thought out and put together. I missed this kinda of theme focused album. Not just a bunch of same sounding beats with wack features. If I do a album this is how I would do it. Beats bang and are beautiful. Swimming pools... Wtf!

Loving this shyt

Album leaves nas last album in the dust but nas' last album was still good. Its hard for new yorkers to concede but K dot blows nas out of the water in all categories right now. Nas has let his rhyme schemes plummet, his flow is diminished a bit and his lines arent as clever. You can tell nas doesnt practice as much as he used to when he was Kendricks age and this is why Kendrick, right now is a superior lyricist.

It's not a New York thing. I think elzhi blu Freddie Gibbs and Kendrick are better rappers. But I take into account Nas is near 40. And still dropping top charting projects. At near 40. Kendrick is more hungry and sharper mind, he is younger. More expansive sound and creative. I will admit I never been to Compton and I relate more to Nas being a New Yorker but its not solely a New York thing. I'm a nas Stan. Admittedly. But I'm a fan of Kendrick and I hope when he is 40 he can still drop creative music. For now, he got a classic on his hands. No hating at all.

KENDRICK just put the legends on notice...

cant wait to hear EM next ALBUM... you know he RESPECTS Kendrick as an MC...

But we KNow he not likin this newcomer on his SAME LABEL get all this shine... im sure his debut reminds him of himself.. next.... how kendrick has the potential to impact hip-hop like he did when he debuted..

I expect a TES typea quality album next.. he LOVES DRE...and im sure dre working with kendrick...(replacing em :leon: will push him to new levels..

ALL in all GKMC impact on hip-hop is nothin but positive..

So its safe to say that if this album receives 5 mics and XXL (regardless of the legitimacy and validity of these two publications), its a certified *future* classic?

It would tough to disagree with that given all the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive.

My two albums of the year so far are Killer Mike's R.A.P. Music and Kendrick. I'll have to listen a little more to this one to decide...

If Nas had the technical prowess of Kendrick right now. Life is good would have been incredible. I think its all practice, like anything. This kid is sleepin in studios doing songs and writing all the time. Hopefully he doesnt fall off like all the other great artists after he becomes a millionare.

Could be they are just two different rappers at two different points of their careers. Kendrick is blooming and has time to grow still. Nas been doing this forever. Pretty much stuck in his ways. Kendrick surprises me every song. It's just great music from both. I'm glad nas and Kendrick are around man. I need to visit Cali one day

Can I ask you lot why do you like this album so much? :why:

Making blasphemous comments like its better than Documentary?

I cant get into this album at all!

No hate. I just cant.

Im not telling anyone that their opinion is wack. Im just giving my own opinion.

I hope someone enlightens me on why they think this album is so great :whew:
