RIP to all the brehs who don’t have a decent sound system at home or in the whip. Production is amazing on this. This might be a homage to LA, but the bay influence is there. Tracks 1-8 are pure crack. Peekaboo grew on me, but Gnx isn’t for me. Imo if it was tracks 1-8 + HeartP6 and Gloria it would’ve been a perfect album. I can’t remember the last time I threw damn near a whole album into various playlist.

Drakeo is dead. What PRECISELY is Kendrick supposed to do for him?!?!

And Kendrick has been utilizing that whisper type flow since Section 80. The cadence he’s been using lately might be Drakeo influenced or it might not be. But Kendrick’s proven himself to be a versatile enough artist that he doesn’t need anyone’s signature flow to be successful.
