Drake ain't have the Black experience cuz he grew up around cacs talking down on slang saying the hard er

Not because he's mixed
Naw him being mixed ain’t why he’s called “white boy”

The fact that he had a Barmitza is why he’s a white boy.

Drake wasn’t part of the black diaspora until he wanted to sell some rap records. He don’t deserve this defense :camby:
I think there's a more nuanced convo to be had here that's probably better suited for Higher Learning but I'll end things w/ this:

When yall say Drake didn't have a 'black experience' and therefore shouldn't rap about the things he raps about, as a black man, I can't tell which part of Drakes raps you are referring to... Is it dealing drugs? Shooting people? Having mob ties?

What percentage of black people in America do you think are actually engaged in these things? If you aren't engaged in these activities, should you be listening to that type of music, or does the rule only apply to artists?

A racially confused vulture is not helpful to the experiences we have as black people.

You must identify with his mulatto struggles because you're in the same boat. The fact that you didn't even address Drake using his social platform to weaponize his whiteness in front of his mother while choosing to babble about some empathy and emotional maturity bullshyt let's me know all I need about what you are.

Are you a fan of rap at all? What percentage of rap is actually constructive to us as black people in 2024? The fact that he is a 'mulatto' doesn't have anything to do w/ the fact that 99% of mainstream rap in 2024 reinforces negative black experiences, that's why it's weird that his race is such a driving factor for you and those that think like you.

My point is that if you cared about black people as a whole, you wouldn't discriminate against other black people because they also have white/Jewish lineage.

He didn’t say anything about Drake that hasnt been said 1000 times
With this many eyes on the situation? And the presentation of it? Abd who its coming from? No. Not like this. That's what matters.

It was harsher than push ups.

Or he doesn’t have anything else to go off?

He pretty much touched on all the shyt he could really get at Drake with :

Being mixed/his son/Pusha T/being Canadian /Acting tough

What else Kenny gonna bring up?

I think Drake has more on Kendrick and gonna get even more personal and really crash out.

I don’t think Kendrick wants to battle the way Drizzy does that’s why he acting like “this a light fade” nahhh nikka this war lol Drizzy gonna be on his ass next record and itll
Go #1 then Kenny gonna throw in the flag and say “he ain’t responding no more” :francis:
We will see. Kendrick basically was saying if you want this to get ugly I’m really gonna violate you and I’m inclined to believe him at this point :manny:

The Chi (South Side)
This shyt has some issues

1. His cadence on some of the lines is just off-beat

2. Inaccuracy with the Joel Olsteen/Haley Joel Osment line. Very strange from a guy known for his entendres

3. His mentions of this being a playful beef. The fukk

I want to like this more than pushups and I def prefer the third beat, but other than that this is just kinda strange
he DEFINITELY fukked that part up. I had to look up the credits for AI, cuz I was sure joel osteen was NOT in that shyt.
