Usually huge acclaim or/and influence or/and impact is enough for an album to be considered a classic by many people

but if nobody knows you dropped an amazing album, nobody is gonna call this shyt a classic :ohhh:
Its 50/50 bruh. Take for example Madvillany, if you ask the average rap fan if they've heard it they'll say no. We all know madvilliany is classic because of its pure amazing quality. An album doesn't need to known to be a classic and it doesn't have to have influence to be a classic. What is must have is quality all-around and it being entirely different from its peers. I guarantee you the average rap fan ain't even heard of below the heavens but its still a classic because its pure quality. S80 is a classic because its a pure quality album that stood out from its peers. Undun had no influence and aint known, its still a classic tho.
