I'll probably die buying weed at the apartment
I'll probably die tryna to defuse 2 homies arguin
I'll probably die cause thats what you do when you 17
All worries in a hurry I wish I controlled things :mjcry:
This shyt resonated with me Ina big way.

Really one of the greatest lines in rap ever if you're from it.

That feeling is real.

After some time to let it marinate, still enjoyable. Only cuts I don't like are "XXX", "Yah" (still....ill beat, just not made for him to spit on imo) and "Loyalty". Everything is fuego or close to it

I love this album. Honestly when I first skimmed I was on the fence. I didn't fully listen until like 2-3 days after the release. My first thought from skimming is was his worst album. But I don't know I have been listening almost non-stop since listened fully the first time. Can't stop. I try not to compare artist albums it's hard when you really like an album you want anyone just like that. It's greedy or selfish. But when an artist changes I try to be fair then I either like it or love it or I don't. I feel like people do themselves a disservice when they want artist to stay in a box. I see that a lot in hip hop but also music period.

I think it takes true talent to grow as an artist or switch thing up and still put out a good body of work each time. While, still being consistent in things that are unique to you. One of the coolest things about this album is the glimpses you see of his previous albums. Also for me personally, I see his 3 stacks influences I always saw.

I started by saying i didnt like this album. I gave it a few more listens and I think its solid. Not his best work but decent. I dont like Yah Loyalty Humble and Love. The other tracks i enjoy. Especially DNA, Lust, Feel, Pride, Duckworth. I still don't like the fact that he went for a safe mainstream sound.
