Album really is growing on me. I can't believe i was hating on it so much pages back lol. I pretty much like every song on the album now except for God.
@Ziggiy @gator_king the only thing i can say that may not necessarily be a bad thing is that with Kendrick's rise in popularity he may be forced to keep the flames lit if you know what i mean. I mean we as the fans would love it i'm just saying he has released projects 3 years in a row with TPAB in 2015, UU in 2016 and Damn in 2017.
I don't want him to get burned out and end up in an Eminem Encore territory with his next release. But i'm saying his hand is being forced now because with all the songs on one album being on the chart and him rising in popularity so much and people who slept on him before all checking out his past work, he may have to release another project with the ADHD of this generation. I'm not saying right now obviously but im saying in a year. Cause when this happens your always supposed to strike when the irons hot.
Like how when those Jay fans became Nas fans in December 2001, then we got God's Son and Lost Tapes.
That is good and everything IF the artist delivers. But man i just feel like Kendrick would be burned out if he does that but its a catch 22, cause the smart thing is for him to do that.
I don't know maybe i'm thinking too hard but hey in a perfect world maybe he releases an exceptional double album and puts his stamp as the undeniable best of his era at the tail end of the decade and then he can take a long ass break lol.
All i learned from this is that J-Cole really has dropped the ball. He is that dude that always gets the silver medal.
