It ain't a classic album in general regardless of where you wanna put it.

Ain't no period. The Low Below ain't just a hip hop album or just an RnB album, but still a classic.

Take Care has classic songs, not a classic project though.

You have DC4 promotion in your sig lol. Says it all really.

Take Care a genere shaking classic. Literally everybody in the culture probably knows all the words from most songs on Take Care.

Why is there Drake talk in here anyway lol

The Republik of Mancunia
in my humble. After a week with DAMN feel I can over a few words.

To me the most important thing about this album like all of Kendricks albums. Its a rare insight into a modern day A list artist.

Section 80 felt like he was giving you his imediate surroundings, Good Kid he then takes his immeadiate surroundings in to the bigger city. TPAB he then takes his imediate surroundings and his city in to and a round the world. He then comes back home and finds out. Life is still Section 80.

That would make you say DAMN what the fukk was all that for. This explained why this album seems all over the place.

The Christ/Saviour complex Kenny is expessing reminds me of Nas, maybe even a similar time in their respective careers. Both artists who want to uplift the culture and community only to be shot at by the same culture they want to save.

Now Nas is grown he's moved past that and his music is better for it. K.Dot is still making great music whilst rocking a Saviour Complex and still getting commercial and critical recognition.

:salute:

Crew Love the biggest RnB
Headlines dominating the clubs
Lord Knows the Just Blaze classic
The Ride introspective bars:mjcry:

I watched the entire video. Just a couple things.

First of all what is it with these type of white guys on these formats on radio going extra hard with the cussing 24/7 in every sentence? Those Andrew Shultz type of white guys. "I'm so cool and down i can curse when discussing these things"/ And they always with someone Black like the guy in the video or with Charlamagne. Its like they think they getting cool points just cussing up a storm. Like those cacs that when you walk past them on the street and they working outside a car shop or construction every other word gotta be a cuss word. Always thought there was some insecurity there with trying to intimidate people by cursing lol.

But anyway with the whole Kendrick debate my only thing is that people are entitled to their opinion but im sick and tired of people not arguing rationally and coping out with that overrated argument every second. Nowadays people cannot disagree with something without calling it overrated. Because everyone talks about kendrick he is overrated. 8 years ago they would have called him underrated and the next big thing. you can go through 300 rappers throughout history and find something on the internet about them being overrated. nikkas are too lazy nowadays and cannot make proper arguments.

they just get mad and say someone is overrated. and often in cases like this with kendrick they only say they hate him cause of what other people say in praise of him. that is straight female shyt. make your own decision based on your own thoughts on the music. not cause your mad people talk about kendrick but don't bring up ghostface or jadakiss or whoever. that is what one person in the video bringing up ghost and jadakiss. and ghostface is one artist that people truly pretend they like and half of us dont even know what he is saying and could never quote lines from him.
Brothas need to get more tech and internet marketing savvy so they don't have some clown that started listening to rap in his 20s using him for credibility

Im not gonna act like metacritic is the be all and end all that defines an albums quality and status like some people...but I'm kinda amazed this album has 97 off of 20 reviews atm, technically that makes this the highest rated rap album beating TPAB, this albums fukking dope but it ain't that incredible lol.

Although tbf TPAB has twice as many reviews...GKMC is still better than both imo :yeshrug:
Cacs that critic? Only matters for video games

On my life I'm being serious.

Just riddle me that. What makes Take Care a classic and not To The Extreme
Vanilla Ice was a pop cac novelty rap act, dance rap in the Hammer/Kid N Play lane. Album had one huge record. Vanilla Ice was never on Drake's level as far as what he meant for the culture. The albums aren't even comparable in quality, since you like talking critics To The Extreme was panned, Take Care received positive reviews. To The Extreme had nowhere near the respect from peers and impact of Take Care. Nikkas ain't talking yo I remember when that Vanilla Ice dropped we had moments to that like ya ass is in here talking bout Take Care.

Comparing Drake and Vanilla Ice, you sound like the mad 40 year olds on this site. :mjlol:
