Damn, now you mention it it dominated in so many lanes

Motto was the biggest Hip Hop song around that period
Take Carw was the biggest pop
Crew Love the biggest RnB
Headlines dominating the clubs
Lord Knows the Just Blaze classic
The Ride introspective bars
Andre 3k came through with a classic verse
Kendrick layed down a classic interlude

That album also had Make Me Proud, Well Be Fine and Practice on it...not a classic. Numbers and having huge songs doesn't make it a classic either, Carter 3 & 4 are good examples

Only song I don't like is We'll Be Fine. Doesn't mean the album didn't resonate as classic to the world. You don't really have to agree but the impact the album had speaks for itself.
I and many people accross the world associate that album with so many dope memories.

As do I, it's a great album, I just don't see it being in that group of cemented classic albums after some years.

Take Care just can't be considered the traditional classic. Like the music quality doesn't warrant it being a legendary album. But on the same hand, it's an album that just about everybody can pick a song from that seriously impacts or impacted their day. It's the closest Drake could probably ever get to a classic with his style of music

Kinda felt like this album was for all the folks who didn't appreciate To Pimp A Butterfly.

It's far from bad, but not close to the top of Kendrick's best projects.

EXACTLY how I felt about the album. Its more casual fan driven.

I KNOW it's early in the year but with the album garnering universal praise as WELL as the sales to match King Kendrick better CLEAN UP the awards circuit this year. No reason whatsoever why Damn. Shouldn't be the first Hip Hop album since Speakerboxxx/Love Below to win AOTY at the Grammy's...

The great thing about this album........anyone who's dropping from here on out, and is committed to putting out the best album possible will have to step it up, or maybe even scrap what they are working on and start over. Hopefully he sets a tone for the genre for the remainder of 2017

Take Care is definitely not a classic hip hop album. I shouldn't have to wonder if I'm gonna hear rapping or not during a song on a rap album.

Damn. Kendrick is singing 75 percent of the time
