That's my favorite song too, real mood music

And I agree with y'all on Future, he can make you feel what he's saying without using many words...one of his strongest attributes tbh
Yeah. He gets it in on that song.

I also like his verses on XXX and Fear, it's just all bullshyt before and after you get to the verses makes me not want to listen to the songs.

gkmc is by far his most well rounded. I'll give it the classic stamp

The production on TPAB makes you wanna call it a classic cuz of how well orchestrated and detailed the music is.

But I ain't buying it
Tpab is a classic bruh. Honest one of the most unique and greatest album I've ever heard. Lyrically its incredible too. There is a reason why herbie hancock, prince, david bowie and his manager, pharell and funkadelic all praise the album.

Never realized how much I'm in the minority of people who liked TPAB. I watched Akademiks and Budden talking about TPAB they both agreed it had no replay value past the release month.

I'm watching it all like :dwillhuh:

I listened to TPAB as much as any other Kendrick piece.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with it as I've always liked jazz, funk, conscious type music. That album was for cultural purposes and necessary. Breh TPAB was fukkin immaculate!

I even went to Kuntas Groove Sessions.

This album is more personal IMO. This is just where Kendrick is in life today.

Whereas TPAB was Kendrick's social commentary/broadcast, something to empower uplift people. BUT I ain't putting it over TPAB just yet or ever. It's too bad everything needs to be compared but its all opinion/preference.
Same, i cant put damn over tpab. Tpab is simply otherworldly.

TPAB is an amazing album. I'm not ready to say classic yet and I don't know if I ever will. It's still early. It's still early on GKMC but that just had that immediate consensus and dominance that TPAB lacked.

I can't understand how some people aren't feeling Yah. That shyt is some classic smoothness:wow:

They're not hip hop fans. Not only is it the best track on this weak album, it's also the most hip hop song on the entire album and one of the best songs Kendrick's ever recorded. Don't worry - y'all will come around to my opinion and then pretend like SirBiatch didn't call it.

The fact that rosenbergs aren't feeling "Yah" is the ultimate irony - these are the same weirdos who pretend like they know classics when the truth is that they'd be the last to figure out what's classic when a genuine classic shows up.

Disclaimer: "Yah" isn't classic like that. Beat is dope, and Kendrick actually has one/two decent lines but his voice gets in the way as usual

Where The Grass Is Blue
FEEL is fukkin fire. Said it a few posts above I dont know if I think its the best song on it but it hits home the most.

I throw that song on and just zone out, plus a lot of what he's saying I can relate to at this point in my life

I felt like it it's aight lyrically. Kendrick is a bit overrated as a lyricist but his storytelling is tight.

He's evolved as a songwriter immensly a since Overly Dedicated & Section 80

Ehhh, maybe. I don't see it tho :yeshrug:

If there was a modern mainstream album to represent the evolution of hip-hop and what it represents, I would reference TPAB.

I'm looking at the tracklist right now like :wow: Even the album cover was fire.
Tpab is the greatest rap album of all time.

Not mad at this at all. I own CD & Vinyl.

I just find it funny how the people who don't like the music spend so much time telling us. Real condescending too.

If I don't like some shyt, I MIGHT drop a comment saying 'yo I wasn't feeling it cause X' And I'll keep it moving. It will get no energy from that point forward.

It's like people want you to convince them why they should like some music. :hhh:

You don't like it, we heard you the first five times. Arguing over personal opinions/preference is pointless.
:camby:

We gonna enjoy this fire well into the Summer.
