Your comment is ironic because on the contrary it was the reverse. It was cacs giving it perfect scores on websites like Pitchfork and cosigning it everywhere.

On the other hand it was actually Black people who were more so hating on the album. Lets be 100 now. Now me personally I love that album

I didn't personally experience that.
I watched groups of young black people with "Black Lives Matter" signs marching
chanting the hook to Alright.

I saw the album quoted on my facebook timeline and being black I enjoyed the album.

I wish I'd not listened to HUMBLE. before the album came out. It sticks out.

It's definitely the weakest song on the album to me, on an album full of fantastic songs. I don't hate it, but there's just something about the beat I don't like, like the beat is either missing something, or has too much, not sure

The beat is too simple imo. Good mainstream song tho.

For me it's the beat also. It just sounds a little generic compared to the rest of the album. The same producer did DNA which I like way better

It works as the lead single but it stands out on the album because of the play it's had (personally). I think it would sound OK if it hadn't been released before the album, but then I'd be moaning about the lead single that was released instead :pachaha:

It acts a nice break in the album for me in a way. I'm still getting used to the rest of the album but when I hear HUMBLE. starting, I'm like :whoo: OK here we go...
