There was a time when you could have dope conversations about albums on here.
Now it's just Stan wars
Love this album btw
That's a very good analogy. There was nothing really new about Drive's story. But it had a Feeling, a Mood, and a Look that was undeniable. And its execution Just how I feel about this album. This is album like the movie Drive to me. It just achieves a certain pace/quality at the outset and maintains it the whole time without rushing or slowing down much. There's no standout rewind 10 times track but otoh each track/scene/shot has at least one part I don't want to skip. It's basically just one long addictive song to me that manages to keep my interest. Haven't been this interested in an album since T&Y even tho there's individual songs better from other shyt than anything on each of them. But as an hour of music as an album for album lovers?
nikkas really saying this is Kendricks best work
The hype is too real
The hype ll die down in a week or two. Then they'll see how lackluster this album is. No cohesiveness at all. Just a bunch of dumbed down songs. His last 3 albums is waaay better that this shyt. TPAB is his masterpiece
Man this shyt is so sad what they are doing.
Thank you I felt like i was the lone stranger in this thread. Guys still aint telling me what are their favorite lines on this meanwhile i can say a couple of my favorite lines on TPAB. i never thought great production quality would brainwash guys so much like this. it is true too many rappers focus on lyricism and not good quality music/production...but at the same time that doesn't mean they should drop the ball with lyrics as kendrick did on this
he aint even spitting anymore like he did on GKMC
I don't hate on any artists tbh.Your bytch ass was hating hard in somebody recently thought it was Kendrick...but none the less nikka you like Future's dusty fiend ass.....his music is garbage breh...that point still stands nikka...but in regards to the original accusation....my bad...had you confused with someone else...
Word up. Where are the pivotal moments that make u rewind shyt back. "This album is his most easily digestible piece of work to the casual listener. So he'll gain more fans. Cool for him. But this album is not that great. Average at best. Yall in here gassing every random song just to make it seem like the album is worth listening too. "These Walls" 3rd verse alone shyts on the whole concept of this album. Madd City shyts on DNA. Poe Man's Dreams shyts on any laid back melotic shyt this album trys to muster up. See the comparison. You'll see once the "kendrick drops classics everytime" hype fazes out. When you'll relisten with a critical ear you'll see the flaws. Im still a fan of Kendricks music by the way.Man this shyt is so sad what they are doing.
