At this point you're trying to soften the blow on Wall. You can't fool me.
Then don't play this game of drawing this generic picture of what's wrong with the team and spreading out the blame as if they're all equally at fault. Wall is the franchise player, Wall is suppose to be the leader, Wall is suppose to be the best player on this team - he's performing like the exact opposite.
Aside from Wittman - he's the one that's largely at fault.
What it comes down to, is players performing to their ability and their status - namely if they're on the come up.
What kind of stupid shyt is this? Great players are made in the playoffs, it's the best scale to measure a player. Save me that excuse, because it's nonsense. Can you imagine dudes using that same reasoning for Harden?
No he isn't, he's handling it pretty poorly - regardless of his age. I don't know which John Wall you've been watching, but he's been their worst player in the starting 5 all throughout the playoffs.
Series is over.

No you fukking weirdo, I don't give a shyt about Wall, I just like him as a player and I think he's good, what do you want me to say? I'm not a Wall stan, I'm just calling it like I see it. I saw a team missing a bunch of shots they were making all game around the 3rd quarter, and I saw another team start pounding it in the paint and playing great defense.
When the pace went to the halfcourt, Wall had trouble, ok, so what happened when the pace was fast? You were quiet as a church mouse and everyone in the thread is like "

Where those people saying Wall is a bum" and those people magically saying he's better within the moment are just as stupid.
It's a team game with so many ebbs and flows. I'm not blaming it all on Wall, and I'm not absolving him of all the blame, but it's silly to say it's all his fault.
And no It's over when one team wins 4 games. Win or lose, every game is an opportunity to learn and get better, Wall is having a bad series, he's going to get better, but there isn't much more else to say. These guys aren't robots. They come out and play like shyt sometimes, they come out and play well sometimes. Just so happens he's playing like shyt in the playoffs his first go round.
To say it's all his fault and Wall needs to win it singlehandedly blah blah blah he's supposed to be this, he's supposed to be that, is just corny and reeks of of the same shyt I get sick of hearing cornball cac journalists rehash endlessly.
You're not telling me anything I already don't know. And no, it's not about performing to their ability and status, it's called probability and variance. If it was as easy having them go out and play the same way every night, sports wouldn't be so unpredictable.
"Clutch, playing to their status, superstars, winners," is just conjecture and bullshyt and there's nothing more to say.
Wall's jumper is broken some nights, and some nights it isn't, but we know it's probably going to be broken more nights than not. He settled a lot tonight for his lowest percentage shots, when he went to the basket he either kicked it out or missed. Those low percentage shots he were taking were close misses, his mechanics have gotten better and I've noticed all season so his jumper is fixable—anyone's jumper is fixable.
He's 23 years old. Three years from now rip apart and do all the bullshyt you want, but I'm not going to be a victim of the moment.
I just honestly don't know what you want me to say or admit, but ok, so make another scathing rebuttal and I'll respond because I ain't got shyt else to do but watch this syndicated Shaft movie
Real quick: Harden is a convenient parallel to draw, but we've seen greatness from him in the playoffs a la the Spurs series on OKC, and we've seen pathetic shyt from him, but we have a decent sample size to judge him with, with Wall, we have one.
That's why I think that's an unfair comparison at this point.
