To an extent...having good hygiene, working out, eating right, having money, having nice things, etc benefit yourself and increase your quality of life, as well as the chances of pulling higher caliber of women.

I can definitely say I lift weights, smell good, groom my hair/face, and dress nice for women. However they don't necessarily motivate my career path and/or what I enjoy doing in my free time.
