Regardless, I think they give Purple Hearts for being wounded while in service. I wouldn't consider that an indication of bravery or toughness.

being in the armed forces alone is some indication of toughness bruh.

it takes some level of mental discipline and effort to follow thru wid it, let alone b in armed combat.
