It’s really ironic in a way because Johnny Mnemonic is basically about a blockchain in his characters head and they use random images to lock it. The movie had a better concept of NFT uses compared to the bullshyt actually going on.

the concept of blockchain and nft is the wave but right now theres so much bullshyt bubble stuff its being attached to it I dont blame people for sitting back and looking at it like its corny. Until an actual piece that gets attention or value for what it is gets an NFT a lot of this is millionaire trading cards.

That's exactly what it is, you've got an image/painting/song that everyone has access too technically because that's how the internet works, but you get to be the sucker that says "I actually own it, see the QR code here?!

While i do think the nft space is bloated i think its completely wrong to dismiss this whole aspect of it. The space is revolutionary for artists in terms of making a living and getting money.
There are still a lot of kinks to work out but the community is making great efforts to solve them. Keanu is wrong on this one.
