How would KD know if he was about to get jumped or not? Yeah, the crowd may have been showing him love, but that does not mean that dudes were not lining him up without his knowledge. It's almost like both things can be true at the same time.

Honestly, I don't know if KD would even recognize when he's not safe, outside of a flat out confrontation.

The next night at Dyckman was crazier because Beasley was out here mushing fans in the face. KD wasn't in no danger, but Beasley was aggravating the crowd til KD was tryna calm shyt down. Don’t seem like he was being serious about the actual event of chasing him out. Seem like he was just using hyperbole to express how embarrassed or heated the players were with being cooked out there for 82. In Big Fish, the son despised his father because his father told stories his entire life with so much flare, the son deemed them flat out lies. He comes to find out the stories are mostly true, only with added flavor for effect, and it was only his interpretation of the stories deemed them impossible. Everything isn't literal, even though you may grasp it as literal. That's not the same as it never happened or is a flat out lie.

Chased someone out could mean anything from he didn't wait around and flick it up and went straight to the car or a stare down that you left immediately.
