Ive been reading that some users that have used these jabs have had some unexpected positive results that need to be studied more.
Because over eating is an addiction like many substances, there are more issues in the cycle of addiction than just consumption. Addicted parties don't only just use, but they think about using, dream about using. Combating the thoughts are more difficult than not having access to the substances. It's literally a 24/7 prison of that voice in your head telling you to eat something, thinking about foods and snacks, just like it is telling you to drink, to have a cigarette or smoke (weed). I've read several instances of people who either over ate pretty much their entire life because of the thoughts, or over ate and had a problem with drinking alcohol or smoking (cigarettes and/marijuana) and an intended consequence of using one of these jabs literally hit an off switch. People were able to quit smoking, quit drinking and or stop over eating not because the physiological craving was gone but because there was no cognitive input, meaning thought, or voice in the their mind telling them to eat, or smoke, or drink. People saying "I forgot to eat...I'm 48 years old, and I simply forgot to eat. I woke up, I got busy and it was later in the day or evening and 'did I eat today?'" People forgetting their cigarettes at home, or forgetting to buy new packs. Just throwing out full packs, letting a bottle of alcohol or case of beer sot I. The fridge when usually hadn't lasted 24-48 hrs.
Obviously this isn't the average reaction to these shots but it's very interesting. I'm definitely curious to see it used in conjunction to therapy to see if turning off that switch is something that can be used to help people stop over eating, smoking or drinking.
