You think this is an ego issue?

:why:

You clearly don’t know anything about the San Antonio Spurs.

umm yes. its been years since a player wanted out of SA as bad as kawhi wants out. LMA wanted out last year but pop was able to salvage it not with KAWHI though. :sas1:

Not even bout that too me. Docs can make mistakes shyt happens.
In a nutshell they rested him than felt he was ready then he got hurt again and idk where but he felt they were wrong so ok no big deal got 2nd opinion. Drob himself has done that and think he said timmy did also.
What the biggest issue was
1. Kawhi not speaking for himself and communicating with team
2. Spurs putting on media bout how they felt instead of keeping in house
3. Kawhi not supporting team at games in playoffs

None of this sound like a damn reason to make a damn trade regardless. Sit down talk both sorry give max done deal but that hasn't happened some other shyt happened and that's y people think it's his uncle cuz it dont sound like how kawhi is and probably y pop said his group which he shouldnt have but might be why.
Parker can kick rocks far as I'm concerned
The reason I bring it up is because I call bullshyt on these claims that the Spurs doctors handled this poorly.
Does reputation count for nothing now?

What evidence is there that the Spurs were reckless and rushing Kawhi to get on the court? He's their franchise player (for now, anyway).
They have every incentive to get him healthy. But at some point when the doctors can't see any structural damage you have to call bullshyt on their negligence

Lamarcus Aldridge, Rudy Gay, Tony Parker, Joffrey Lauvergne...and I'm no doubt forgetting others....ALL OF THEM suffered injuries this past season. Did the Spurs fukk them up? Did they rush those players back to run them into the ground like some of these clowns in this thread are claiming SAS was intent on doing to Kawhi?

You've got to be out of your fukking minds if you really believe that.
This is horseshyt outright trolling from people who think they see a chink in the armor of 20+ years of Spurs excellence.

Spurs have the best doctors in the business and gave Kawhi plenty of time to heal and rest. The point that the Spurs doctors mismanaged or didn't correctly diagnose his injury is BS. The only people believing these leaked reports from the media are fans of teams hoping Kawhi leaves and goes to their team.

I don't believe they rushed him either but what I do believe people can make mistakes nobody immune to it even us.
Mistake by that i mean they were right with what was wrong but a another underlying issue came up with it they didnt forsee wouldn't call misdiagnosis tho more like it was more severe than thought.
I do sway more so with docs being right just being objective saying we can make mistakes also.
I'm more pissed he dont say shyt to team
And parker comments
Either way it is what it is
Ship him out if he can't give us respect and communicating properly imo
Sure we can admit mistakes on our part for some comments but shyt wasnt that serious what was said

I dont think it was at worse another issue connected too it that just popped up but not no damn misdiagnosis. shyt like that happens and is common. I mean we may be best in business dont mean we cant make mistakes either is what I feel also but I dont feel in this case it was cuz it be more obvious and look he got better from what REST

Thus... the reason why spurs doctors and outside doctors couldn't find a damn thing wrong with him :francis:

Obviously that rest is what he needed if he better now wasnt no misdiagnosis. And we rest better than anyone in all sports period. That's y these reports make no damn sense.
If he wanna leave say it himself or if he dont speak the hell up.

He won’t say anything.
He will decline the $217M and that will be his “comment”

You like the word narrative or something:gucci:

It's the new "youre just hating":mjlol:

Nah, “narrative” is actually the new “you full a’ shyt.”
Explain to me two things

One why did he shut it down last season?

Two...explain to me why the only thing we've heard from kawahi is that he's getting a second opinion and it all went bad there .:mjlit:

There’s no straight answer to any of those deflecting ass questions from anyone, any camp.

You just can’t back up your “workhorse” claim with actual facts so now you goalpost movin.

Can you think of any other instance where the Spurs doctors ruined a player?
I’ve been a Spurs fan for nearly 30 years and I can’t recall a single example of the Spurs messing up a diagnosis.

Much less this ridiculous fake idea that the Spurs would purposely rush back a franchise player that they went out of their way to protect in the 2017 playoffs.

And then when Kawhi wanted a second opinion, you heard nothing publicly from San Antonio for months until this whole thing started to sound fishy.

Let’s keep it 100 here.
The only people on this board who are blaming the medical staff are Lakers fans who are trying to spin everything into a negative in the hopes that Kawhi gets traded there.

Lol

Because KL is reading these comments feverishly, ready to have his decision swayed

Yall “spurs fans” are so upset

So a nikka missing time but then saying I wanna earn a max deal with my play next season is more in the wrong than a nikka who wants to play for a rival team and refuses to sign any deal with his team or speak to management directly about it until way after the fact? :dahell:

Not to mention D-Rose played 66 games his last season with the Bulls
I didn’t say he was in the wrong I said that’s why he got it kinda bad. I already said kawhi should have been upfront earlier so they could have already moved on from this.

Why is the FO being so hardheaded about keeping him? Or is that a ploy to keep his value higher?

I don't mind his tactics too much, but I imagine the fans will never welcome him back unless he turns into the 2nd coming of MJ.
