Imagine the shyt Rose would've gotten if he came back for 7 games, looked good then sat out for the rest of the season like :hubie:and didn't say anything to the media with reports that his brother was trying to get him to NY and he was gonna reject the max from the Bulls

Drose really got it bad because he missed a couple seasons then talking bout he couldn’t wait til free agency. The whole fanbase was waiting for him to come back and help push the team over the hump.

after he was cleared and came back, decided he was still hurting... they didnt say "no, get your ass out there and play." they allowed him to sit out, had no issues with him referring to an outside medical staff. didnt make a fuss about him rehabbing in new york, etc.

but he's supposedly deciding not only to bolt, but to bolt specifically to LA, because of some comments along the way? lol thats bullshyt. the fact that he has explicitly demanded los angeles is what makes the rest bullshyt.
Was it definitely Pop that stopped him from playing? How do we know it wasn't Kawhi that shut himself down in the GSW series?

The fact is, Kawhi is a p*ssy. I would have played in the GSW series and also last season. If I was told I can't make the injury worse or cause any long term damage, I would have played - doesn't matter if my game wasn't 100%, I'd be out there trying to contribute (same as TD and Manu - those are my teachers, and those are guys that ingrained that in me when I was growing up watching them play and push through ailments). I'm all about winning the Championship at any cost. I'd rather win one than go 10 years without winning anything but still remaining healthy. I'm not a believer in passing up chances/opportunities to play for a Championship. Personally, I'd take the risk.

Also, round 1 against Goldenstate, I would have been back on the court HELL BENT for revenge to try and knock the Warriors out of the playoffs before Curry could get the chance to come back. Instead, this p*ssy shows no killer instinct. You can be your ass Jordan would have been out there looking for revenge if he was Zaza'd the year before.

This spurs fans said if he was KL he would say fukk his money and his body .....

and then said Jordan would have ....blah blah

:francis: they think they own you for some reason :hhh:

It's really looking like the most likely scenario is that Kawhi turns down the 217M extension on July 1st.
At that point, there will be no doubt that he wants out. He hasn't said anything publicly that he wants to go, and I suspect he won't say anything on July 1st either. But declining the deal will officially say it all.

I'm trying not to take this personal because I've repeatedly said that if Kawhi just wants to go to LA, so be it. It's his choice as a free agent (next summer)
But the more I'm thinking about it, it is seeming like he really did quit on the team. And that would be something that I think is unforgivable. To decide not to come back or at the very least...travel with your team to support them during their playoff run....how can you defend that?

Like if he was really hurt by Parker's comments THAT badly, don't you think he could just state to Buford or Popovich that he won't return unless Parker is gone? As the franchise player, you don't think the Spurs would listen to that demand? Even if Parker is a Spurs legend, he's at the end of his rope. San Antonio could just decline to keep him and spin it strictly as a basketball decision. The more I think about this I just don't buy this story that he was emotionally hurt by Parker's comments or the Spurs' medical opinion. I think this whole season was a charade to get out of San Antonio.

So a nikka missing time but then saying I wanna earn a max deal with my play next season is more in the wrong than a nikka who wants to play for a rival team and refuses to sign any deal with his team or speak to management directly about it until way after the fact? :dahell:

Not to mention D-Rose played 66 games his last season with the Bulls

Even with Paul George and Kawhi (not 100% certain that they join), the Lakers still won't be contenders out West :yeshrug:
