There has to be a deeper issue between Kawahi and the spurs that the media doesn't know about. I refuse to believe he wants out just because of what Tony said or the injury fiasco. Maybe scumbag Tony fukked his wife
Yall act void of critical thinking sometimesImagine the shyt Rose would've gotten if he came back for 7 games, looked good then sat out for the rest of the season like and didn't say anything to the media with reports that his brother was trying to get him to NY and he was gonna reject the max from the Bulls
I gotta deal with seeing that damn kobe smiley everyday again
Even with Paul George and Kawhi (not 100% certain that they join), the Lakers still won't be contenders out West
It's really looking like the most likely scenario is that Kawhi turns down the 217M extension on July 1st.
At that point, there will be no doubt that he wants out. He hasn't said anything publicly that he wants to go, and I suspect he won't say anything on July 1st either. But declining the deal will officially say it all.
I'm trying not to take this personal because I've repeatedly said that if Kawhi just wants to go to LA, so be it. It's his choice as a free agent (next summer)
But the more I'm thinking about it, it is seeming like he really did quit on the team. And that would be something that I think is unforgivable. To decide not to come back or at the very least...travel with your team to support them during their playoff run....how can you defend that?
Like if he was really hurt by Parker's comments THAT badly, don't you think he could just state to Buford or Popovich that he won't return unless Parker is gone? As the franchise player, you don't think the Spurs would listen to that demand? Even if Parker is a Spurs legend, he's at the end of his rope. San Antonio could just decline to keep him and spin it strictly as a basketball decision. The more I think about this I just don't buy this story that he was emotionally hurt by Parker's comments or the Spurs' medical opinion. I think this whole season was a charade to get out of San Antonio.
And when he got a second opinion from his own med team they realized he was never properly healed from the zaza ankle injury because the spurs treat their players like work horses. I take that back I'm sure belmont horses got better treatment than kawahi in san antonio
"I don't care how you get here, just, get here if you caaaaaan"I think this whole season was a charade to get out of San Antonio.
Can you think of any other instance where the Spurs doctors ruined a player?Yall act void of critical thinking sometimes
Terrible comparison
KL was cleared when he shouldn't have been
He reaggravated an injury they claim he no longer has
And when he got a second opinion from his own med team they realized he was never properly healed from the zaza ankle injury because the spurs treat their players like work horses. I take that back I'm sure belmont horses got better treatment than kawahi in san antonio
Team and their fans need to shut the fukk up before they get hit with a gross negligence law suit

I’ve been a Spurs fan for nearly 30 years and I can’t recall a single example of the Spurs messing up a diagnosis.
Much less this ridiculous fake idea that the Spurs would purposely rush back a franchise player that they went out of their way to protect in the 2017 playoffs.
And then when Kawhi wanted a second opinion, you heard nothing publicly from San Antonio for months until this whole thing started to sound fishy.
Let’s keep it 100 here.
The only people on this board who are blaming the medical staff are Lakers fans who are trying to spin everything into a negative in the hopes that Kawhi gets traded there.
Fakkits really on some other shyt to fit their narratives outchea.
Insist a coach/team that started a national conversation about and even got fined for “over-resting players” overWORKS their squad...brehs.

You think this is an ego issue?spurs front office ego hurt af they cant change kawhi mind to stay so they gon try to keep him 1 year and watch him walk away for nothing. good.
So even with this game taking place in Los Angeles, not far from his Moreno Valley, Calif., hometown and with about 10 family members and friends on hand, Leonard swore his mind didn't wander to a day where he doesn't wear the silver and black. He's all in when it comes to San Antonio, especially if most nights are going to be like this.
"I don't think I'm going anywhere," Leonard said. "I mean they love me here. I like the organization, and if it was up to me, I want to finish out with one team like a lot of great players have done, to stay with one organization their whole career and just be loyal to that. You never know. We'll see what happens next summer, but I'm pretty sure I'll be in a Spurs jersey for my whole life."
