Have a washed Tony Parker set your franchise back a decade breh's.
Parker’s comment wasn’t helpful but come on man.

That shyt is gonna be the reason you leave a team? That’s gonna be the reason you forego millions of dollars in salary (tax differences between TX and CA)?

I think Kawhi (if he does want to leave) just wants to be in LA.

I can’t imagine that Parker comment being such a big deal. If it is, it would have to be arguably the stupidest reason a player has left a team...probably ever.

That shyt was so minor.

Report: Spurs worried Kawhi Leonard’s group trying to get him to Lakers, Clippers, Knicks, 76ers

This was 2 months ago and none of us wanted to believe it.

Spurs have grown worried that Leonard’s group has an ulterior motive to fray the relationship and get Leonard traded to a larger market like Los Angeles (Leonard’s hometown) or New York or Philadelphia (Robertson lives in New Jersey).

One source close to general manager R.C. Buford said the longtime executive admitted to him that he’s constantly losing sleep over how and why the relationship with Leonard has disintegrated.

One of the so called leaders on the team saying some slick shyt like that and pop didn’t even check him means that pop either agrees or put the battery in his back. That on top of all the slick shyt the Spurs been saying all season, I get why he left

But Tony aint even say anything all that bad or offensive. I'm not seeing what TP said was slick shyt

He said he had a similar, but worse injury and returned to the court before Kawhi and he over a decade older

Dude sat out basically the whole year with an injury that didn't seem like a season lasting injury and refused to talk about it or let them know what's up

Hell yeah the older veterans and players on the squad gonna have something to say about it

Saying the injury was “100 times worse” is some bytchmade slick shyt. Players are never supposed to speak on another players recovery time for injuries.

It's starting to sound like Kawhi could have returned to the club and held back.
I'm not defending Parker saying what he said to the media but let's not act like most of us (even non-Spurs fans) didn't think the same shyt Parker said.

Here's what I dont understand.

When Kawhi first came in the league, he used wingstop coupons, his mom lived with him, and they had to beg him to spend money.

Hes got the same friend and girlfriend from college.

No mention of his uncle being involved in his life. Now all of sudden he wants to play in a bigger market.

Nothing Kawhi does says BIG market. I also think the big market thing in the NBA overrated. When's the last time a big market won a ring?

NYC is the biggest market and none of the big name players want to think about going there.

The Lakers had to change the front office and Magic in charge in order for players to even think about playing there.

Dallas and Chicago are huge markets , they never get considered in the NBA arms race.

I see y'all trying to make it seem like Kawhi's Uncle being involved with his career is a problem :mjpls:
the whole internet/spurs fan base bashing the uncle, we dont even know who the uncle is. Kawhi is a grown man, its his decision
