Like they said on Zach Lowe's podcast Kawhi's career is being run by idiots. His agent/uncle could've just played up the fact that since Pop will retire soon it doesn't make sense for him to sign a new contract. Bring up that he wants to go back home to LA and that he already won a championship in SA.
Instead Kawhi looks terrible. It's pretty obvious now that they faked that 'season ending' injury. But in the end it is all his fault because he's letting these fools run his career

I agree with everything except bout fake injury part cuz of how he is a gym rat but I swear to God if he been faking it I'm gonna beyond pissed

I don't think he "faked" the injury...I do think he had a real setback and after he didn't come back in late March his team just shut him down and was like "well fukk it no matter what we not getting the supermax now so no need to even try and play for it"
But this just goes to show you how dumb kawhi team was...cause they kept phrasing it as "he not 100 percent" instead of phrasing it as "he to hurt to play"...
Uh...nobody in the nba is 100% in march...so...that means he could have played...
I've got a pretty long winded explanation of what I think really happened here...I might post it later or tomorrow...
