so what are the signs then? all reports say leonard is fed up and will even consider sitting out the year.

if leonard didn't play a game the spurs would win 45-48 games and lose in round 1.
If Kawhi wants to sit out, that’s fine by me.
It only serves to destroy his standing as a player and person. It probably also brings charges of breach of contract.

I hope it wouldn’t come to that because I like him as a player. But if that’s what he exposes himself to be....so be it.

I'm totally down for LA getting Kawhi so we don't become the dumbasses who trade for him as a one year rental. He's walking to LA next year anyway.
Can't guarantee that. Everyone also said PG was walking to LA last year.

PG wasn't as openly saying he was going to LA like Kawhi or his camp has, and PG didn't have LeBron sitting there waiting for him like Kawhi does.
Who gives a shyt?
A year ago everyone thought he was gonna be a Laker. Yes or no?

Yes.

PG not going to the Lakers fukked the spurs over big time

If PG signed to the Lakers, the Lakers would only be a able to trade for kawhi and not be able to sign him in free agency.

The Truth
Spurs better get busy

Lakers are probably going to give them the best offer out of any team because no other team wants to risk trading a guy that is hell bent on staying for one year and going to LA.

So Spurs better take Deng, Kuz/BI and a bag of chips or risk getting nothing at all for him

Except he is going to the Lakers no matter what , so mise well get something out of it
I would appreciate this advice from anyone who wasn’t a Lakers fan tho.

Because it’s in their interest to be against a trade if they so firmly believe it’s a foregone conclusion.
