Theres a VERY good chance the Spurs will trade him east than let him go to LA directly. They know him sitting out the season knowing he will go to the lakers anyway as a free agent will only tank his value which in turn tanks their leverage to gain quality players from the trade.

I don't know what the Lakers brehs been telling you.

All I know is that the Celtics have the most trade assets available out of any team, the Spurs reportedly covet those assets, and the Spurs are desperately trying to avoid trading him to the Lakers (understandable).

The Cs might as well do their best to try and get him WITHOUT offering Tatum or Brown. And the Spurs would probably have Tatum or Brown (probably Brown) included if they'd get assurances that Kawhi wouldn't be a 1-year rental.
Your biggest obstacle to dominating the conference left town.

You have no incentive to give up Brown or Tatum.
Though we would welcome them with open arms.

And therein lies the rub. But if Kawhi would assure the Cs brass that he'd stay long-term, we'd let you have one of them...no questions asked. And that deal trumps any other deal being offered by the Lakers or the 76ers.

Its crazy how kawhi has gone from a quiet and humble superhardworking guy to a diva that may have faked an injury who teams are scared to trade for because he might not "show up" for the team if its not his preferred destination(lakers).Image is all gimmicks i guess, but Hes worth it tho because hes the only golden state kryptonite and i think durant is definately scared of him because ive seen kawhi shyt on him both ends of the floor. Bron scared of him too so i definately think lakers would be wise to move whatever.

"We talked about the situation. Really, there’s no issue between Kawhi and the Spurs.”

Uncle dennis, he said...

Lakers fans are willing to throw out this season? LeBron isn't young anymore. You can't just waste time. It's a win now situation.

LeBron turns 34 this season, Lakers fans act like he's got another 4 years of prime ball in him :mjlol:

he already completely stopped playing defense

I know the Spurs stick to their guns, but it’s stubborn because you can get some really good, young assets From the Lakers as opposed to any team other than the Celtics who seem content with what they have .

Without Kuzma in the trade the Lakers don't have shyt to give, their 1st round picks are all going to be very late draft picks anyway
