he's not gonna sit out, Spurs might as well make him stay til the trade deadline
don’t quote me you were lwo 3 years ago then you bandwagon hopped to the spursApparently someone begged Kobe to stay.
I think the Lakers are a fine organization. I thought it then. I think it now. Have you seen me slander them as a franchise here, ever? Please share any and all receipts.don’t quote me you were lwo 3 years ago then you bandwagon hopped to the spurs
And did kobe leave ?
link fixed. my bad.Whats the link with the spurs and a tweet about romo and witten?????
On the first point I stand corrected the only Spurs fan I found doing that on this board was @duckbutta.Can you provide any evidence of this?
I’m certain I have never said this about the Lakers being unable to draw talent.
That said, they haven’t had a big time free agent signing since...Shaq?
All great players they’ve had in the last 25 years were traded there. That’s a testament to their elite management in that time. But do you really want to argue that the narrative had no truth to it just because NOW a top player (Kawhi) wants to go there?
See this is what I mean. Eventually the boy who cries wolf is gonna be right...after being wrong so, so many times.
Fair enough. On the first point I stand corrected the only Spurs fan I found doing that on this board was @duckbutta.
Now on the second point how is it crying wolf when last season Paul George was willing to come here. And this season it’s been reported that Lebron’s narrowed his choices down to two teams, La and Cleveland.
Kawhi, Lebron, and George that’s 3 top level players right there. Not many teams in the league are able to get even one player on this level interested in them, let alone 3. Not too mention the Lakers have been bad and dysfunctional for a couple of years now.
Anyways I’m not even sure about Kawhi coming here. He’s a great player but if he’s so easily influenced and possibly quit on his team. I can’t respect it. The Spurs have probably set the gold standard for an organization since drafting Duncan no matter how much I dislike them. And the reasons being given for Kawhi being upset have been suspect.
Yeah that’s what I meant the Buss siblings petty squabbles was horrible.Fair enough.
I wouldn’t say the Lakers as a team have been dysfunctional. Management sure seems like it was. But I get your point.
