I don’t know how old this clip is, but it looks like it’s before he was in Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and he was 19 when that came out. He wore a dress in that one too. Anyway, I don’t recall him saying he never wore a dress. I guess early on he probably did it because other comedians had done it, plus the pressure of being young and trying to get into the business. Then as he became more established and other roles started requiring a dress for no reason at all, it became suspicious and he took a stand.

DC had the funniest bit about going to black owned restaurants i’ve to this day ever heard.

Man you know back then the funniest folks were Bruce Bruce, DC, Arnez J, TP Hearn, Earthquake, and DL when he roasted the audience.

I think TP Hearn died. But I saw Arnez J at the casino a couple years ago and he was still funny as hell.

Arnez was fukking HILARIOUS. I think TP Hearn is still alive if i’m not mistaken.

DL was great but his roasting on Def Comedy was more uncut (obviously) i remember he told a man in the crowd who was wearing a tuxedo that he looked like a Gay scientist and was probably at home inventing dikks! That shyt made me fall ALL THE WAY OUT when i first heard it

yea def jam was out of reach for me being younger and on HBO so comic view was like the next best thing.

Not as raw or high profile but still good.
