Legit, already one of the top bigs in the league, crazy

His defense is :wow:
that was the big thing that made me swing his way. He better defensively.

I also knew he had more offensive skills than he displayed at UK. The fear was how were they gonna keep dude in the paint because he was a perimeter player coming up. The Notre Dame game is what sealed it for me because UK needed baskets and he got them.

People shyt on Calipari, but he knows how to get big men to round out their games. It took one year too. Same with Anthony Davis.

also, somewhat to this point, people always wonder why these blue chip recruits dont go to a school where they can 'be the man'

i think its rather beneficial for these players to be playing within a winning team concept, sharing the ball, and being held accountable

Towns only has 2 games with 3 blocks or less :wow:

The way his rebounds Is a big plus too. Very aggressive and active but has great hands so he's swiped some rebounds lots of other bigs would just be tipping.

He's got a nice balance to his offense right now as he hasn't been settling for his jumper. I've liked his willingness to drive and he'll probably be 2nd on the team in assists which is just crazy as 19 year old 7 footer.

Thank you KG. I really think he is giving KAT all this confidence and he's getting a crash course on being the leader of a team :wow:

No offense to Okafor but im taking Potential over Al Jefferson ceiling :yeshrug:. Hes the safer pick but give me Karl 10 outta !0 times
I've been hearing Okafor being mentioned in the same breath as Tim Duncan:scusthov:. He's gonna be a good pro without question but tbh I see more of Tim in Towns games. The defense, rebounding, shooting stroke, shades of a budding post game (okafor has him beat there tho). Towns post game will be a problem 2 years down the road. Has a jump hook that would make Dwight Howard cry:mjcry:. Plus his shooting stroke is cash. I can see this dude dominating in the league. Granted he doesn't have The same post game Tim had outta college but Tim stayed all 4 years:yeshrug:. I think ppl are selling Towns short tbh. Has all the tools and coordination to be filthy in the post, and already has better range than 99% of the NBAs bigs. Lakers please make the right choice:sadcam:

Detroit You bytch Ass nikka
Jahlil can be Amar'e good on offense.

Towns can do it all though
:dwillhuh:

He plays nothing like Amare and they don't even have the same stregnths at all. Jahil reminds me of McHale without the rebounding more than anybody else at this point.

Towns is just better, no offense to Jahil. Towns has no weakness in his game. None

I mean in terms of efficiency, lack of defense, cant rebound.

He's put enough work in the weight room, where if the Sixers ran a P&R system he'll dominate.

:ehh:

I disagree about the P&R comment though. Amare is the best EVER when it comes to catching and going straight up. Things like that don't just improve to an Amare level, we have hot seen anybody finish off the roll like Amare since he came in the league. Yall know Amare is, still my nikka:mjcry:

I doubt that, highly.

He doesnt need to be like that though.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I need to see Alexander play against people his size or bigger than himself, he was physically dominant in HS, but he's "only" 6'8" in shoes and dudes that just physically overpower people prior to getting to the league usually have a really tough transition when they make it there.

Never trust them manchild 6'8" PFs that destroy HS players.

I've watched every Sixers game this season, I really have good feelings about the future for Okafor.

The way he operates so effortlessly in the paint, just makes me think of a young Shaquille O'Neal :shaq:

Granted, the team is still 2-3 years away from doing anything.
