:what:he has the same amount of rings as Kareem and outdoes in some areas if not match him

Bill only got the 11 on him, so thats literally only thing Jordan doesnt have
Kareem been in more chips, has more NCAA chips, more MVPs and is the leagues all time scorer.

Whats your point again?

Not really.

It's just like the rings argument, they aren't the only qualifier, but the whole "well Horry >>>> Malone" as a rebuttal is a cop-out.

When you're comparing ATG talent, rings do become a means creating separation between the who's who. But people like to do it without context or nuance to get their points off.

Being the most recognizable NBA icon is a distinguishing factor among the rare air, ATG players. You can compare stats, accolades, skill set and all that and Jordan is still top 3, at WORST.

And whoever it is you're TRYING to put in front of him ain't nearly as iconic. Tell me I'm lying...and be a fukkboi and say that it being the most iconic, most responsible for the popularity of the league, on top of being one of the most skilled and dominant doesn't mean anything toward creating a distinction between who's who.

Jerry West? :mjpls:

Bill Russel?

Wilt?

Magic? :mjcry:

LEBRON?
200.gif

The only person you can really make an argument for is Cap and all things accounted for, they got the same amount of rings and the GOAT got his stats and his rings with a higher degree of difficulty.

But you end up going down a slippery hole if you base it on how many eyes are brought to the product. I'd argue that what Bird and Magic were able to do was impressive, bringing the NBA from being tape delayed to being seen as a top sport on the level of NFL and MLB. They saved the NBA from being a near dead league to a major player. Even that is not telling the whole story. Part of what helped the NBA's rise was the introduction of cable TV which gave the league way more avenues to actually televise their games and not be at the total mercy of the networks. The existence of WGN also played a large part in Jordan's popularity as that helped Bulls games became available to more people outside of nationally televised games and local feeds. Same way it helped aid Dominique's popularity. So to use the number of eyes brought to the product as a measuring stick ignores way too many factors that played a part as well.

@bolded are u fkn serious

been in more chips? really so now we giving him props for even the finals he lost in. smh

More NCAA? NCAA shyt is irrelevent, GOAT convos regard NBA. Otherwise convo regarding Stephen curry vs Isaih Thomas would mention how the latter has a NCAA ring. This only comes up with MJ vs Kareem and I think everyone knows why:francis:

More MVPs? the nikka only got one more, plus he won one which he prolly should not have won as he missed the playoffs. Whereas Jordan was not given a repeat MVP after leading his team to a near another 70 win record in 97(69-13). instead, it was given to Karl Malone:scust:

All time scorer? Jordan shortened his career, plus this criteria even this game can be played in reverse. as Kareem doesnt have the scoring champs as Jordans

nor does he have the finals mvp amount Jordan has

or a DPOY:sas2:

Yes I am. Especially when they played much better teams than MJ faced. The same teams that were bumping MJ out of the playoffs.

And being the GOAT DOES include your entire body of work as a basketball player.

Your entire post is nothing but trash eraser attempts at Kareem’s resume. I dont have to take shyt away from MJ’s resume to make the declarations im making.

You second city niqqas love bringing up NYC. As if I was a Knick fan or something. :mjlol:

Take your word salad posting ass elsewhere. Kareem and Bill had more accolades

More NYC media trained deflection and hate here for Michael Jeffrey Jordan.

I would think NYC would learn the lesson that jay gave them.
That it is easier to praise a hometown hero regardless of the issue and gain way from that.
As opposed to continually keeping up this Jordan negative led mantra.
based on nuffin but emo loss for a series of bball games.
NYC were never gonna win ever.
Plus when they did win when Jordan was absent got beat.

So, all this is emo deflection.
That would be better served to follow the NYC pr of the guy they Stan in jayz.
Then use some old emo racist mad because they lost a bball game.

It is more usefulness to pull the jayz I like pac after he is dead playbook to be popular on hard knock life/iml Ii. Instead of this mislead witch hunt for mj.

Which is all because the NYC bball fan and media person does not want to acknowledge the knicks lost in the finals when they got there in that era.

It is mad emo.

:dahell:

Slippery slopes, measuring sticks...the number of eyes isn't the measuring stick, nor was it the basis of my argument. My argument is that based on all things considered statistically, skill and accolade wise, there is plenty of separation between MJ and the other guys in his class because he is hands down the most iconic. Take all of what you said into account about Magic and Bird, compare them, I'm sure you'll see enough separation to rank them properly.

When you have two players as accomplished and dominant as MJ and Kareem, it's going to get to a point where you gotta examine where the separation is. I say that along with having comparable stats, accolades, skill set and dominance...MJ actually being the most iconic NBA player in history creates more meaningful separation between the two than an extra MVP does.

See here you go getting exposed.

Wgn was not whom aired games consistently on a national cable tv basis or regular tv basis.

Now give us the channel.
Since you talking out of turn.

You just talking and I know so.
Simply because you do not have your facts accurate at all and this is all your self equation.

You also never saw Jordan like that if wgn is your source.
So you do not even have real large knowledge of mike playing to even speak.
As wgn did not have the large bulk and only had rare seasonal contractual coverage of Chicago bulls games.
