I HAVE TO ASK AGAIN SINCE NOBODY COULD ANSWER, BUT WHAT EXACTLY DID KANYE "PASSIONATELY" SAY IN THAT INTERVIEW THAT WAS SO PROFOUNDLY POLITICAL, BROTHER?

Who said it was political? We were being meta and analyzing how Kanye being a Black celebrity with a streak and infamy of confronting White people has led Cacs and C00ns to hate him beyond belief.

WHILE I AGREE THAT A LOT OF WHITE AMERICANS INSTANTLY TURNED ON KANYE DURING KATRINA, I'M NOT INTERESTED IN LISTENING TO AN HOUR LONG RADIO INTERVIEW, BROTHER! SO I'M ASKING SOMEONE TO SUMMARIZE HIS STATEMENTS THAT MANY PEOPLE IN THIS THREAD HAVE SAID WERE HONEST AND IMPORTANT, DUDE!

The fact that people would try to turn Kanye's latest diva antics into a racial issue is pathetic. And yeah, I'm black. You've got the struggle all fukked up when you try and equate this man's hoe-like crybaby temper tantrums to real examples of real political bravery by black men in this country. You make a mockery of everything those men worked and died for when you tell me to stand behind a diva crying over not winning awards and being too big to be spoofed just because his skin color looks like mine. Fukk up outta here.

How? Give me an example? Because he is energetic and confident?

clearly you didn't watch the whole interview. and perhaps struggle with comprehension and finding the root issue of what Kanye was talking about. fukk all the leather jogging pants and the antics. He's stating that if you're black or brown you will be confined in a box. It will be nearly impossible to break out of that box unless you do something so fukking spectacular that the powers that be have to let you up to the next level for fear of it affecting their sales or their bottom line in some way. essentially he is saying that it is his mission to change that within the music entertainment industry, and within fashion or architecture or wherever he wants to bring his insight. He pays homage in the interview to those that came before. And he feels like its his duty to be the trailblazer for the next generation despite the critics and kimmels of the world. It's deeper than Kanye. This is for every nikka that does twice as much work as the next guy, but because hes black and he doesnt have connections with the boss's boss or reminds the boss of his grandson or some shyt...the slacker cac gets ahead, while you barely gettin paid for that OT work. He's saying fukk the color of my skin and fukk the politics. Base him off his talent and what he creates. And even though i think the shyts look horrible. The leather jogging pants are huge in the city. And I can only imagine in Europe and the rest of the world. So he has a legitimate right to be frustrated.

...And apparently black and white people alike don't agree with his way of thinking? :yeshrug:

and for the record i've had my nikkas who cant stand Kanye watch the shyt and even they agreed that he speaks pure truth. If you don't see that then I gotta say it again..you aren't a black man who's had to deal with real challenges. And more power to you if this is the truth. Or maybe you're complacent just following the status quo and being a c00n :yeshrug: :yeshrug:

Even THOUGH Jay-Z, Diddy, Russel Simmons, and other BLACK men have already blazed that TRAIL and risen to levels above our Honorable Minister Kanye West, we still need his leadership and GUIDANCE because the so-called black president, Barack JEWsein Obama, is an industry plant.

whoa....easy there with the caps and shyt bro. First off. Those guys led Kanye's generation and he intends to do the same for those younger than him. He mentions Kendrick for example in the interview.
