I fukks with Ye's music (Not so much the Yeezus album) Dude has blessed us with some classic albums and dope production for 10 plus years.

I saw the BBC interview because of this thread....he said be spends most of his time with architects and wants to design some stuff in that arena. Why couldn't Kanye get a degree and attempt to do it the proper way? I would have stuck up for him if I knew he went to get a degree and put in that type of work...because to be a successful architect instead of pushing papers and working on everyone else project you go to the graduate school level.

As someone who went to school for design ill be the first one to say that if you have the money and people with the technical knowledge around you really don't need it. He hangs around with architects, he can give his ideas and they can tell him if its possible or not.

I think most people (especially in hip hop) arent used to people who are apart of popular culture that are actual artist (not someone who strictly does it for the money).
Emotions, and artist go hand in hand. You'll be hard pressed to find an artist in any field that isnt emotional. Those emotions are why they are great.

We look back and find Rick James outburst funny...give Prince a pass...and say Miles Davis was a bad ass.
Its the same thing w/ Ye.
Plus its refreshing that someone on his level doesnt play the PC game every second.

I went for engineering and I was the head designer of a 100k piece of scientific equipment. I don't think kanye is trying to be an architect, he is just trying to create.
