You know full well you can't debate me lol. You lose everytime you try. I am superior to you on every level and that's what intimidates you and makes you act out.

Kanye west writes most of his lyrics.
I think the "ghost writer" claims are exaggerated.
He's kept a consistent style for the past decade.
So the idea that he has people writing all his songs
for him is off, I think he works with a TEAM to bring ideas
to fruition. He's admitted to bouncing ideas off of his friends,
taking hooks they've suggested and leaving parts of the production
up to other members in his team.
He also brings producers on to do production for him.

In terms of ghostwriting, my opinion is Kanye doesn't write anymore. I think he did at first more maybe, I think he's more focused on production and even there is more an orchestrator in some senses. But regardless even his ghostwritten shyt wouldn't compare to K-Rino on a lyrical level. I don't even hold that against him TOO deep, but when you start talking about great lyricists it becomes a factor, but I ain't really got no issue with that, as some greats from the past have had songwriters. Like I said , I like some of Kanye's music, just my opinion is K-Rino is artistically superior. Also I kind of do notice a difference stylistically in terms of the writing, quite a big 1 actually.

I don't see the difference, I think the biggest change he's had is in his delivery.
IF anything I think if Kanye had a ghost writer he'd go out and pick one as nice
as his "Big brother". He definitely has dudes in his camp to make his written's doper
I don't think he'd get washed by Jay-Z as often as he does if other people wrote for him.

His execution of it makes him a better artist yes. K-Rino has numerous songs about the struggle, he has songs about love and heartbreak too. He has a song called Pain and Betrayal lol. It sounds like you have a very limited idea of what K-Rino talks about. I would be willing to show you what I mean but no point if it's futile, but he goes WAY WAY WAY deeper than that.

It isn't about numbers, because it's a different playing field, that is not the correct way to analyse with this comparison, it's highly illogical to do so. I am the perfect person to judge actually, there's Kanye songs I fukk with highly, I like some of Kanye's work, and i've heard everything from both, and I'm objective, you probably can't get a better person to judge as the honesty and realness is impeccable. I've told people I know I don't like a certain song of theirs lol.

I feel like your arguments are quite flawded bro and a bit slanted. No, you don't at the expense of your integrity. "I'd rather have 10 thousand true followers behind me , than 1 million of your fake fanatics behind me" - the great KRS-One. If you have to get fukked in your ass for people for more people to hear your music do you do it? Or sell out your manhood? Not me, not for 100 billion. I can't do that and won't do that. You have to have principles and integrity in life.

The last point is silly, he's not doing the same stuff, he's taking artistic chances on every single album, merely on a vastly higher level than Kanye artistically.

....

I can confess my knowledge of k-rino is limited. But I have listened to him from time to time and I feel that I have enough music knowledge to argue my point.

When I listen to K-rino I want to hear good lyrics and cool concepts. But hes not saying anything that I dont already know through books or youtube. Its no point going what I do or do not know tho.

All I can say is, Im impressed after listening to a K-rino song but it doesnt move me. Its like sitting in a lecture in school. Its can be cool and all but it can become boring. I listen to music to get moved. I listen to music because i wanna feel something. I listen to music because I want to dance or rip shyt up. I dont doubt when you say people being moved by K-rino but thats because they deeply attach one of their own strong emotions to one of his songs. All artists can do that.
But you are truly a great artist if you can move your audience with songs about stuff that they never even experienced.

Im not saying Kanye is one of those artists but Im just trying to show you that what you are saying automatically puts K-rino at the top.

I know you like Brother Ali. Hes and artist with good lyrics that dont feels forced and have a message.

Atmosphere's Yester day is a good example of a song that can move you with out the experience of your dads dying.

And the beat is better then anything i heard from K-rino.

If you want a Lyrical rapper that made music with deep meanings, you should listen to eyedea.

WTF? Are you not reading what I wrote? That KRS-one quote have nothing to do with my point. You talked about selling out and I called you about it with logical arguments and you go back to hinting that kanye west fans are "fake fanatics"? The KRS quote is of course fine by it self and I tend to agree but Kanye isnt a sell out. And again who are we to judge his fans? Does Kanye make brainwash music, is that because his big? Why is Kanye west so big if he didnt make good music? And why is K-rino not as big? I simply said that Kanye isnt selling out and had valid points backing my statements. I also said that making good music doesn't automatically make you a sell out.

So again, WTF have being fukked in the ass have to do with anything with what I just said? You are just writing arguments that when read out of context is sounding some what logical and true. But in the context as an reply to my text its so illogical. The only way it makes sense is if you claim Kanye is getting fukked in the ass on some illuminati bull shyt to be able to have the fan-following he got. And if thats the case, I dont see any point keep discussing this.
(Not even saying Illuminati dont exist but to claim they some how decide what kind of music the masses should like is stupid)

To answer your other quote that read, how can an artist that dont even write his own lyrics be an better artist then one of the best lyricists.
Well, Michael Jackson didnt write all his lyrics. Does that make him less of an artist? Is K-rino a better artist then for example Bob Dylan, just because Dylan isnt as lyrically gifted? Have you heard of the quote "keep it simple stupid"?
Lyrics isnt all about in how many impressive ways you can rhyme. Its also about conveying your message as simple as possible. The best singer songwriters in the world know this. Its easy writing an essay about how you love some one. But writing it with as few words as possible and still hitting home. Thats hard!

And music isnt even all about lyrics and rapping/singing. A song can be trash if melody/beat dont match what you are saying. So how can you question Kanye West bringing in ghostwriters when K-rino dont make all of his own beats? Its more then one element you know. And the other isnt more important then the other. Its personal taste. The title of the thread is whos the better artist. Not who is the better lyricist or better MC.
