I personally don't consider Kanye to be a fashion icon and think his look borders on basic/ridiculous.
But there are people who think otherwise.

It's still pretty cool to be on the cover of GQ Magazine.

I realize that when people start throwing out the names of fashion icons, the list is overwhelmingly white. So you're kind of toeing a fine line by mentioning Beckham, Gosling, JFK, Hepburn...etc.
But there are people one could mention ahead of Kanye West.
