Wasn't Ye supposed to do a 7 track joint with Kweli back in 2018? I think Kanye was hurt by Talibs comments about him. Might've felt betrayed so he was in his feelings when asked about him. Common and Push didn't agree with the MAGA shyt either but were more brief with their opinion
It’s funny that anyone of his celebrity friends that took exception to his slavery is a choice tap dancing is passed as a Democratic shill. No they thought you were c00ning so now you’re gonna take that same energy and project it towards them?

Took a page straight from Trumps playbook and dudes in here applauding

That's how I took it. Kweli was the most vocal in regards to his MAGA stance. I know he mentioned they met up and talked during that time and also started recording music so I think he was holding that in and finally letting out the hurt he felt same with Legend. These are cats he came up with so for them to be vocal like that he took it personal you could tell.

Thats the only logic I have with that is Sean speaking on the money issues. I don't ever recall Sean saying anything about Ye political stance. Even still Sean said it was all love. But Sean be passive aggressive at times cause he kinda had an issue with Kendrick where he was been passive until they talked. So who knows. And Ye was gonna drop him once before so it could've been animosity there building from Ye in the form of passive aggressive.

He straight up said “I never really liked Talib as a rapper”.

Which is bullshyt considering he had him on his oh so important DEBUT album and then specifically called him an artistic inspiration on that very same album

You acting like a Grown Ass Man can't put away his personal feelings to make money and do business, this shyt happens every damn day in the music industry, sports industry and business industry.

I'm I shocked, hell No! It's business nothing personal. Producer's work rapper's everyday who they think who's wack, Emcee's do it also. I bet I can do a Google and find Rapper's talking about they working with other rappers who they thought was wack or didn't like.

Negativity (Kayfabe)
He did distinguish and say when WHITE PEOPLE say the word rapper they mean ******. He wasn’t referring to the term itself

That's a good point.

Like I said; I don't give a fukk about fashion--especially after how he disrespected Sway (who's an overall cool dude) over some simple question.

Up in his feelings because white Euro CAC won't let him "in."

But, he proved his worth in clothing after all these years.

nikka puttin' out straight dog shyt 9 times outta 10, IMO

But, mad companies sharked his Yeezy design

We are on a forum talking about the Kanye interview. That's why it's being said. Whether or not is "basic shyt" is not the point. The point is, as a society (more specifically as black ppl) we aren't at that place where people fully feel free to be themselves without scrutiny, where we have resources to make decisions based on preference and not necessity, etc. Kanye was making that point. I highlighted it because we are talking about the interview.

Stop talking just to talk.
:mjlol:

what constraints does a person have to live how they wanna live?
